When I first started making them i was able to make 6 big ones and had enough left over for two pigs in a blanket..
Ive noticed in the last few batches that I barely have enough puff pastry for six medium size ones and nothing left over...same Aldi ingredients...more bloody expensive but less of them in the packet..

Sometimes when I’ve loads of tomatoes and little time I just pop them in the freezer. I later add them to other dishes for a taste of summer.
All this talk of tomatoes is making me hungry… 😋

fine to cook but you wouldn’t really have any use for them raw after defrost unfortunately they are too delicate (and almost entirely water)

I’ve never made an attempt to defrost and use a tomato in a salad but I just couldn’t see it working out very well 🤣
Definitely no prob if you were going to cook them, same as frozen fruit tbh when it defrosts it’s good for little else but cooking or smoothies 🤣
