That’s a big drop in power, you’ll miss it when you need it.
He was a very lucky man.. I pass that way every day.He went in the only spot for about 2 miles where you could manage to avoid hitting a tree.
got over 400000 gals of slurry out in about 2.5 days
Nice pics but you don’t show us the gate or the wheel tracks where you spread it!
Probably drawing to a nurse tank or direct to an umbilical system as 2 of the tanks have no splash plate or dribble bar/Trailing shoe. Place is probably spotless after them.
Lad near me using a Challenger at the head of the umbilical system and you'd hardly know he had been in the field
drawing to an umbilicle in the field- pull up on side of road- only the tractor with the umbilicle enters the field
Could have done with a rub of a brush where the lads were filling the tanks. Fair puddle for a lad with only boots on.
Careful now. You could hurt someones feelings.
Give him the brush and let him clear his own patch. He'll be waiting for the tank to fill anyway sure, he might as well be kept busy while he is. 😉
Anyone looking for an old tank?
bit of a Bruce crompton about you??! That machine should stay in Blighty
Could you mount a fertiliser spreader on the back? The tracks might be useful given the state of the ground around here
Looks like you could get the slurry a long way from the roadway with that.
It's amazing to think the public can buy these machines (decommissioned of course) and do whatever with them.
I think that particular one is still in Germany.
The poor ould Morooka's are now sought after again.
Rain-gun fitted as standard
Del
Rossmore FL85 is 11k fitted
OOh I want
It'd be a great advertisement piece for your contracting business.
Imagine driving down Mullingar in the St.patricks day parade with the tank and a sign saying "Reggie's heroes. No job too big. No job left standing". 😅
"No pier left standing"
What's with them negative vibes
Will a haybob or Lely lotus pull two 7 foots together?
RE: this article, does this refer to the Carlow-based company? Hadn't heard they had closed down if so. Only a couple of weeks ago, didn't the Machinery section of the IFJ carry a review of their Supercube trailer?

SMYTH TRAILERS LIMITED was dissolved in 31/12/2013
SMYTH TRAILERS IRELAND LIMITED has being trading since 25/08/2011 - This posted latest accounts on the 31/08/22
SMYTH TRAILERS EU LIMITED Has been newly incorporated 18/07/2022 - This hasn't posted any accounts to date
If you go to the smyth website you will see EU in the H, wonder when that changed?
Interesting. Name change to avoid legal responsibilities?
The website doesn't appear to have been updated very recently.
If you look at the logo that says EU
but if you go to the brochures it says Smyth Trailers Ireland Ltd and the H has IRL in it
Prob did, but dont think it would matter as you can still go after another company if they shut down and changed there name but effetely is the same business same directors
Some might remember I put this up last year.
Its going to be sold on as someone may as well get use out of it.
I have a figure in my head, but I would welcome any opinion on what would be a fair price to sell it for?
Thanks
Hard put a price on, maybe €500-1000 to the right victim
Think you'd be more looking at 1-1.5k if its working.
