Anybody with any ideas on why there should not be one? It was usually very useful as a pull-up when the back was playing up a bit. The fixings can be felt behind on the car frame. Some say safety but others reckon a tiny saving for the manufacturer. Annoying when I am used to having one 😞

Bought one of these on amazon for €43 works as it says.
I saw on one of the other Thailand site seemed to be if you ask Hi BYD to turn on navigation audio it may work.

Yes I think but you'll encounter issues unless you use a specific version that is adapted.

Two volume options show up on the big screen when the radio volume is adjusted. Use the touch screen to adjust the navigation volume (the right one on screen).
Yes navigation volume is up to max and audio option on maps is turned on
Does anyone know how to sit in the car with the car off without the car alarm going off after about a minute?
In any other car I've had you could could turn on the infotainment or radio without 'starting' the car. Like turning the key to the first position or hitting start/stop without pressing the brake pedal.
The seal doesn't let you do that and the alarm goes off if I'm in the car with the door closed after a minute or 2. I guess a motion sensor in the car.
Has happened to me a few times, now I'm wondering if I leave someone in the car and run into a shop the alarm might go off.
You have to turn off child presence detection in drivers assist menu before you turn off the car which is a pain. Handier to just leave the car on , doesn't really use any battery while just turned on and can't be accidentally put into drive or reverse as you need to have the brake pressed to activate that

Right so the spoiler won't be making it through customs because there was some missing data.

Ah thats a pity, very same thing happened to me, was in Dungarvan on the 16th March but showed a red flag on the An Post scanner and was returned.Have a different one ordered should be here mid May.Hopefully this will get through okay.
