I got out and cut the grass today. Front and back. Last year I left it too late and paid the price. Promising myself to keep on top of it this year. I hate gardening with a passion. But noone is just going to turn up and do it for me. So it's a necessary evil. Good excercise though. So im looking at it as a workout rather than a chore.
I've cut mine 3 times so far this year, only another 6 months of it ... 🥴
Next on the list is to tackle the weeds, another endless task.
Ah the dandelions are food for bees so convince yourself they are a pretty yellow flower and not a weed!
I actually like dandelions, it the straggly green yokes that pop up everywhere that annoy me.

Just home after a brilliant weekend away, really needed a change of scenery, I think I was in CJ territory, almost on the border, then had to do the dubs area but it was all great..day off tomorrow to recuperate, I'm absolutely bate but taking advantage of the lie in already 😉...roll on 2 weeks time for the next bit of galavanting…staying close to home in the Treaty county.😁🥂

In my favourite chair, just listening to some music and trying to keep my brain in check. Not having much luck with the latter, I’m afraid. Why can’t we have three-day weekends as standard?
I think if I had have known when I was young, that you could have a career in wildlife, conservation etc I would have gone for it.
Never realised till my 30s I think, that it was possible. Love watching those documentaries
I love watching them , and though I know that the camera man probably spends days/weeks getting the shot , I would love it
A wild life camera op requires one major thing after the glass/lenses at the front and that's some major patience. A former colleague and college mate of mine has worked on Attenborough stuff.
