No need for poll, QS all the way
Another vote for Quicksilver, but only with the light interior.
haven’t seen it in the flesh but I’d be voting for quicksilver
Not a fan of silver cars so red for me. It looks amazing in person and really stands out in a sea of white and grey cars.
Please please don't add another grey car on the road:
seemly anyone that ordered MSM are getting a free upgrade to the QS colour.
That's a very nice bonus indeed.
same for the red too. Cherry red upgrade.
I haven't seen it in person but not sure I like the look of that new red on the website, the old red looked great and worked very well with the black 20" wheels. Would have gone for it myself if it hadn't cost €5k extra at the time.
As an aside, Tesla could really do with adding some more wheel options. I'm not sure what their obsession with black rims is, it really doesn't work with some of the colours they sell. The options they have on the new 3 are nice though.
For anyone sitting on the fence about ordering a Mod Y the 0% APR finance has been confirmed as available for cars ordered by April 16th and collected by 30th June. There are a good range also in Inventory soon may be the time to act.
Cherry red on the highland.
Yeah I've been in the showroom and that car does look nice but that colour is down as Ultra Red on the website and doesn't look anywhere near as dark as the Cherry Red on the Y?
Correct ..the new colours for Model 3 is Ultra Red (not too dissimilar to previous could) but on Model Y its Cherry Red which is very different
You’re right I assumed that was the cherry red colour.
Just realised Tesla 0% APR is not just on PCP but also for hire purchase.
Eg:Tesla Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive - HP Representative Example | 60 fixed monthly payments of €523 | On-the-road cash price €41,832 | Customer deposit €10,458 | Total amount of credit €31,374 | Optional Final Payment €0 | Interest charges €51 | Total amount payable €41,883 | Annual Percentage Rate 0.00%
I wonder if there's any chance of the recent Model Y price reductions in the US, coming to our shores.
Or 0% APR deals on Model 3 may be?
Where's my magic8 ball when I need it… /s
we don’t have any excess stock like the US unfortunately. I personally can’t see it happening.
Did we not get the similar round of MY reductions first - when the price was reduced to equal to the M3?
The red in the Tesla looks amazing. Btw does anyone know what the situation is regarding after tow hitch supplied. There does not seem to be any availability for this to be installed in Dublin. Removed from my purchase at €1350 as it attracted an additional €850 VRT. Did anyone get a towbar installed outside of Tesla and how did the software work. Hate the inconsistent pricing of Tesla, it’s $1000 in the States, €1350 in Ireland and £1400 in Belfast. There’s availability in Belfast and wonder is it worth biting the bullet and getting them to do it.
Different markets, different taxes, different vat etc
I bought a Red Dot for a pistol last week in Texas for $162. It’s €290 plus delivery here. Not just cars 👍
Tow hitch can be fitted by Ranger at your house, no need to visit service centre
And true to form, price increase on MY over night.
Now €45,058 for the RWD in white.
is that an increase of about 3,250 for the base model and spec?
Was €41,832. But remember, the €41 was the reduced price from the normal €45 price.
Pretty happy I took the plunge in early January now. The Model 3 I got rid of looks like it would be worth a few grand less now too.
Model Y LR now back up to €53,397 (white) and €54,795 (black / blue).
White / Black LR models were €53,940 before last price reductions.
Seems there's a RWD Long Range model available in Europe now, but not in RHD.
it’s getting confusing with all these different models now. The simplicity is what I liked about Tesla cars 😂
Have my first trip to the Sandyford service center on Thurs. Hopefully, it's just a wheel balance issue. I was hoping to drop the car in and it would be a few hours at most however the estimated time just gives me 24 hours and indicates it would be ready the following day. Is this likely or just the default shown? It is a bigger deal for me to get home and come back the next day.
What's the symptoms of the fault ?
Vibration through the wheel when going over 100kph, I travel on the section of the M4 between Lucan and Kilcock, which is exposed to a lot of crosswinds. So either there is a wheel balancing issue or some sort of resonance is caused by the crosswind.
