Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Wouldn't mind that BFMV/Trivium show here, be a nostalgia trip.
These were actually announced last September when tickets went on sale.
23rd September 2025 SSE Arena, Belfast
24th September 2025 3 Arena, Dublin
Hope it comes here
Last time I saw Trivium they didn't play much from Ascendancy
15 years after their first Farewell Tour 😂
i guess money's too tight to mention! :)
It was previously mentioned on the 2024 thread when his new tour was announced but a reminder that Welsh comedian Rhod Gilbert playing two nights at Cork Opera House (17th & 18th) in October.
Olympia in Dublin too
Normally I object to buying tickets so ludicrously early but he's exceptionally good, and his tour is long as it has loads of breaks, fair enough after recovering from cancer
I think his Cork Opera House gig was like the last one he did before his cancer diagnosis. I remember him cancelling a lot of shows due to issues with his voice but lucky enough he was well enough to play Cork (although he did mention that he was still having issues with his voice).
It was a brilliant gig and the strangest one I've been at too as it was two nights sold out but delayed for two years thanks to Covid, but only 50% of the audience turned up. Ever since then, Cork Opera House send text and email reminders about shows that you have booked tickets for.
Rhod is brilliant. I think the first time I saw him live was back in 2006 or 2007 and every show since has been a belter. Can't wait for his show next year.
I never really begrudge comedians with long tours and dates on sale far out. I think his tour starts in a few weeks and bar a few breaks, he's touring an extremely heavy schedule through to the end of November 2025.
Kid Cudi playing 3 Arena on 12 March 2025 with support from Pusha T
Greg Davies playing three nights in Vicar Street in October 2025. Presale for the Friday and Saturday sold out in an hour. Rest of tickets on sale on Thursday.
Got 2 tickets for the Saturday night. Travelled to see him in London for the Magnificent Beast tour.
Seeing him in Vicar Street will be amazing.
18 months away, yet it's the weekend before Rhod Gilbert 🤣
Extra date added. Matinee show at 3pm on the 18th.
If you're a Jason Donovan fan this is especially for you!
Do we think Beyonce for Croke Park or Slane in 2025?
Anytime I mention a possible Beyoncé show it never happens. Lol She just announced something called Always Been Country, no one knows what it is yet. Could be visuals or tour.
Wardruna announced for the Olympia Theatre, 23rd March 2025.
They have been in my radar for a couple of years now and I missed them the last time they played at Vicar Street.
Might try for a ticket to this myself. I'd say they would be unreal to see live!
Holy Mother Of God
🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, a friend of mine saw them at the last tour and said they were amazing!!
Tickets a bit expensive, starting at 60 euro, but I think I'll bite.
No Doubt are backing touring not sure if outside US, iconic album Tragic Kingdom is 30
Got my tickets to Frank Turners 3000th show in London next February, only got tickets to see him 6 times this year but no harm starting on next year.
I'm hoping there'll be an Irish show around that London one
It'll have to be after that or it'll mess up his numbering 😋
I wasn't counting, was hoping of his currently announced shows it'd take him to 29xx then with London being 3000.
II'll take a show after though
Erasure are planning something
Maybe a tour with a date here
He did mention Ireland when talking about this year... I did a quick count of upcoming dates and I think 45ish gigs yet to be listed. I have my ticket for show 3000 😃
Didn't know they were still going
'If I Could ' was a staple of Scuzz & Kerrang in the day
Oasis "hologram" reunion show rumoured, as apparently Noel loved ABBA hologram show
