Why? That's what they love about him.
So like his signature……….
More pseudo tough talk from the unmanliest president. Picture him saying it in the blue steel mugshot pose with a Zoolander voice, it's actually hilarious. Tiny is not in on the joke though.

you don’t understand america, he just wants to shop for a new judge

OT but the founding fathers from New England (Adams, Hancock, Franklin) weren't slave owners. The Virginians (Washington, Jefferson) were. State-wise, it was close to evenly split. Population wise, the biggest state was Virginia. The resentment was being taxed without a vote on it. This was one issue, far from the only one.
Fair play to him and his Bible studies…..😆
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
That really does sound like Donald J Trump. He exudes all those qualities.
… “and I realized I had none of them”
I'm sure that'll do wonders for his share price
Controlled immigration is not racism.
There is a reason there is a visa system in place, otherwise there would be chaos.
you must be hopping mad then that MAGA killed the republicans own bipartisan border deal which would have strengthened the requirements for visas, asylum, etc. and even stop considering who is eligible or not if there are too many people at the border illegally crossing and just turning everyone and their dog away.
True - But saying that everyone that crosses the border is a disease ridden criminal deliberately sent by other countries to destroy America absolutely is though…
Cute.
Immigration is controlled. The rapist proves his racism with every word he utters on the subject.
There you are now, defending trump again
Sweet lord.
Calling immigrants animals is racist.
Saying that they are poisoning the blood is racist.
Saying they are ruining the country is racist.
Calling Tish James "Peekaboo" is racist.
For some, Trump wearing a t-shirt saying "I am racist", would provoke the response "that's not what he means".
Legions of migrants "raping" the Treasury sounds like nonsense that Enoch Powell or Hitler would have espoused. It's basically going back to pushing conspiracy theories. Particularly ironic that a rapist is referring to rape though… But sure, like the rape, you'll downplay these remarks too which is clearly just being a centrist.
Loose Cannon on notice for fallacious proposal of jury instructions

The one judge Trump never attacks
In fairness the same can be said about some of his supporters and other gop members
Gaslighting is the ultimate bad faith tactic. You don't employ it without knowing what you're defending.
Trump's racial purity Aryan shtick is just mainstream conservatism now.
Well obviously it's not meant to be taken literally; it refers to any manufacturer of dairy products.
Blessed are the Greek??
You are looking at the wrong ones, they are the pus*y beatitudes.
In more evidence of the top, top legal minds on Trump's payroll…
The dopes in his employ forgot to attach requisite financial statement to the bond filings. The court has rejected his filing 🤣🤣🤣
Only the best people… 🤣🤣
I don't think what we're seeing can be called conservatism in any sense except that some of the old vestiges of that ideology have been hijacked, so there is a superficial resemblance.
Take, for example, the American religious right. A good number of them would transform the country into a theocracy tomorrow, if they could. That would be a radical change and completely out of step with the principles on which the country had been founded. In no way 'conservative'.
Looking at it more broadly, what's happening here throughout the West is that you have a lot of people defining themselves as conservative because of their stance in a narrow range of contentious topics. In all the other ways, they are poster children of liberalism. They're not against sex outside of marriage, taking drugs or listening to loud music (in fact, the Bro Rogans of the world probably find these most agreeable. Shows alpha status.). Their religious views are probably more against other faiths rather than what they themselves believe. Some of you may remember Britain First walking into Mosques with a big crucifix as publicity stunt. This kind of sums up the new far-right thing of using one's own religion as a combat prop rather than being in any way spiritual. The plain-dressing, plain speaking, plain-living conservatism of old cannot really be found apart from among the elderly or certain religious communities. It's now just screeching reactionaries trying to one up each other.
I would disagree. While there's always going to be a sizeable cohort of your small c types, most of conservatism over there is just pure Trumpism. I get the impression that the only reason the GOP didn't go this way sooner is because they thought they'd lose votes. This is what conservatism is now, since the moderates can't stomach an old school type like Biden.
Here in the UK, we've a Tory party that's gone full on with the culture war stuff and will allow defend to the hilt any racist who donates enough to them. The GOP and the Tories are the conservative parties of both the USA and UK respectively. Ideologies change over time. The argument about weed or same sex marriage doesn't hold water. Those are settled or are in the process of being settled, eg as in Germany.
chaos over at Newsmax because they dared to report on Trump negatively

That may be what people are calling conservatism in this day and age, but the kind of change which so-called conservatives are pushing for now is far from incremental and has much more in common with reactionism where there is a call to return to a past era, which may involve doing some pretty rash and stupid things without regard for consequences.
