Yeah, you need to have that shower before 11pm or after 6am.
That’s doable but when you come home and can’t cook much it’s fairly depressing.. might send Irish Water a few Just Eat bills 😂
Repeat this weekend I'm afraid. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Lovely..
Seen a lad loose his **** at 3 lads for pissing on the wall right infront of toddler today.
Really got me thinking how people in this town just ignore **** from scumbags ruining our town. I for one will start calling people out for things like this going forward.
Bit of flooding last Sunday and some people going on about the Flood Relief plan again.
Still the return of the Strawberry Festival of sorts outside the town in Wheelocks but better than nothing.
Strawberry was a big event brand name that sadly got dumped.
New street plan for Enniscorthy.
Hey does anyone know what days the marriage registar is working?? Trying to get an app online but apparently there’s no appointments at all.. I suspect they only here once or twice a week 😅
There was a time paths got maintained. Not a well travelled route out the New Ross Rd,but leave it passable at least.
Spent a fortune on the bit at Red Pat's Cross, the rest is like this.
The Manse is going on the market.

The Presbyterian Church is up for sale too.
End of days.
Both sites will make lovely social housing
Another Advance Building for the Technology Park.

Can someone recommend a plumber in Enniscorthy to check out tank in the attic. Some water stains in ceiling Uber the tank area.
Thank you.
Artist impressions of the town centre renovations.

Looks nice but I'm confused by the empty space where murohy flood is are they not building a library there?
They wish! No way they’ll get funding to build a new library considering the money spent renovating the existing library.
Theres also no need whatsoever and the only reason for doing so would be to make it “more accessible”, where imo where it is currently is fine.
blaming the location for low footfall is silly.
Would have reserved it for retail. Badly in need of large shop units, nowhere to build them either.
Enniscorthy doesn't really need big retail units its just needs modern 21st century retail. You know kind of shops that don't close for lunch, don't open late or on sundays especially in the lead up to Christmas and realise that there is a whole new consumer that they dont cater for.
The new town plan is great as the days pandering to the motorist and on the way out.
I just hope the councillors don't pander to the whinge, moan and scared of change brigade.
Why are people driving to Gorey,a smaller town to shop?
This one size fits all policy of refusing planning outside of town centres doesn't really work if it's the only option for expansion. Populations are increasing everywhere, loads of new estates planned around the town that haven't even begun yet. Something will have to give or the weekly spin up and down to Wexford and Gorey will continue.
Ah here lack of retail outside the town centre isn’t an issue as much as massive retail units being occupied by pure nonsense.
Look at rafter street! Massive retail units occupied by the likes of ToGo, Grants Pharmacy & Homesavers. The units in barrack street are used by a solicitor, chipper and Eastern European shop. The same shop actually uses two units with one being only for stock.
Don’t even get me started about bloody eurogiant in abbey square centre occupying a massive space prev a SuperValu. There’s also your man selling clothes that appear to be the same gear they sell at those markets in Pettitts car park odd weekends.
SVP in the square operating out of the old PTSB.. like just look at the town and what a joke the place is. Why the hell would any serious retailer, say penneys, TK, Tesco etc want to come here? The towns not attractive to retailers because shopping just isn’t done here.
The end of the day it’s not going to be solved with a single or a couple of big name shops to stop people heading to Wexford, Gorey, Waterford etc. there’s a long standing problem with retail and shopping in Enniscorthy and it can’t be rectified by a few in or outside town centre stores opening.
If I was in charge of opening a Tesco or penneys store I’d look for someone with an existing heavy shopping presence. Enniscorthy isn’t it.
All they need now are pedestrians.
Putting benches in the hills is a nice touch though.
Somebody given the unenvious and rather dodgy task of collecting about thirty bags of rubbish thrown over the rocks from Esmonde Rd.
Ah here. With any luck the dirty fcukers who did it will have been stupid enough to leave behind something to identify.
Can we chip on for a bit of tarmac for Friary Hill. John St ain't much better.
Id be happy with a footpath
Local link to Curracloe starting this week for the summer. If anyone is interested.
looking to find someone local who sells eggs, you know not a business just a local person with some hens type of thing.
Could anyone please PM me if they know of anyone thanks :)
Can anyone recommend a chimney sweep in the Enniscorthy Area? Need to get my chimney in the town centre cleaned before the autumn fires - I bought the house a few years back and cleaning the chimney is overdue at this stage!
Thanks.
Looks like the death bells will be ringing for Enniscorthy as yet again the Councillors and a small group or retailers are against progress
I've never known a town to continuously mess up things as much as Enniscorthy from the bad handling of the Strawberry Fair to shops refusing to modernise and move into the 21st century, and the continuing nonsense with the Athenaeum and Castle Night club.
