Bad idea to have a sip of coffee while checking this thread 😂
Homeside here. Haven’t even cracked my Easter egg over here, the bloody time change has messed up the entire day for me. Then again, music, some writing, a nice coffee and some non-oviform chocolate isn’t a bad way to spend the day either, I reckon…
Who says you wait until after dinner to eat it? 😜
Bit late to the party, but time to crack that egg 🤪
Omfg the wee mallet haaaaa
Also that show is on my watch list let me know what you think
You're much more of pro than I gave you credit for poochie! 🤣🤣😜
What egg is that thomil ? 🤤
Sephers/thomil…where is the best place to park to go to yer local park that isn't over at the bridge...McDonald's?
I just tried to do @ both of you but the list doesn't show up..is that a new 'fault'?.🙄
..
hopefully not this year 😄
Drive down that road from McDonalds, you'll see GAA pitches, past them near the end on the left there's a car park but I've also seen people just park on the side of the road before that if you get me.
Perfect, thanks Seph.
The mallet🤣 I just hop my eggs off something hard.☺️
I use my fore head for the smashing of eggs 🤣🤣
If you don't want to go in the front or back (the way I just described is the back entrance and bridge is the front) there is a middle entrance, turn left at Mcdonalds, drive until just before tescos, turn right, drive down that road past the secondary school and just past the church turn right again, drive until you pass the primary school and turn right again into another car park.
Butlers. Was a last minute purchase at Dunnes. Pretty good, the pralines that came with it are still untouched as I’m totally stuffed over here…
Seph’s instructions are already a good option, but I usually prefer what I call the “middle” entrance at Inishmore Square, behind Scoil Barracks. It’s not quite as cramped and there’s more parking available for those of a more motorised persuasion. That puts you about half way between the bridge and the entrance behind McDonalds.
Got that as part of a Valentine’s Day gift package from work. Been using it occasionally to call Zoom meetings to order at work, always gets a good chuckle 🙃
I go in the middle entrance as well as its only 2 minutes away from my house 🤣🤣
A Valentine's mallet? Now my mind is going to a good pounding. 😇😇
Right on cue.... 🤣
Oh myyyy… 😂😂
I wish it was that, but it was supposed to be used to crack open a large chocolate hart filled with honeycomb caramel. These are the guys who make it, feel free to have a look at their range: https://sugarplumsweetery.ie The heart & mallet are there as well, for all your pounding needs 😇😇
I'm glad my mind wasn't the only one heading there!!!
Menage a trois au Cork 💕💕💕

😭
Brilliant 😂😂😂😂😂

Valentines mallet 😉 Kinky @thomil 😂😂
a lovely dinner today I must say. Nothing special but really good.
Home cut chips, fried cajun chicken and rice with a Thai yellow curry sauce. Really delicious tbh.
Soaked the chicken in buttermilk overnight and goodness it’s absolutely falling apart here— I barely managed to drop it in the fryer it was tearing at the seams even raw! 🤣
Anyone interested to make the seasoning was just
1 cup of plain flour (or self raising)
1tsp of Cajun spice, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, pinch of garlic powder, some salt and white pepper and a tsp of smoked paprika. Coat the chicken really well and fry 5-6 mins. If needed give it a couple mins in air fryer to finish it without it getting too dark! heat your oil at about 160c.
Really simple but just hit right. 😎
The overnight in buttermilk sounds like a savage job. Plate sliding
I had first in the grand national..woo hoo
Came across these on another thread...
First one reminds me of waawaa wiiwii on insta, totally worth a follow
