Indeed, entertainment in certain respects is what Tubs has provided, albeit perhaps in a way not intended. And still awaiting 150k payback to the licence fee holder.

Someone from Liverpool texted in (I'm surprised he knew the number as it took Tubs 3 attempts to get it half right). "Ah Liverpool I was there….The Beatles, McCartney, Strawberry Fields, the architecture…it's an Irish city really..".
Someone else texted in from Galway and said Tubs brightens up her day. To which he replied- "Sure that's what we're here for: to add sunshine, happyness and laughter to your day before I go home and cry uncontrollably in my apartment…(there was a brief awkward pause at this, point)…ah, only joking I don't really."
I wasn't convinced by his last line.

The move to London was supposed to be the launchpad for Tubridy back into Ireland. 6 months over there and the belief surely was RTE or Newstalk would be begging for his return and prepared to pay big bucks to get him back.
Its had the opposite effect, he's yesterdays man, forgotten about, largely irrelevant, as time has moved on. He's now stuck in no mans land.
And Virgin really is the last chance saloon. Next stop the dole queue or a non broadcasting career.

Actually, this makes me wonder. The NeverTubbs narrative is that Ryan is unloved, washed up and slumming it in London earning a pittance.
If all of this is true (it’s not) then why on Earth would NK spend money on a Putinesque social media campaign to big up a fella who the haters say is getting 50k a year.

I 100% believe it. You can try to frame it anyway you want but the facts speak for themselves. People can read what’s be written in this thread by the suspected shills and make their own mind up.
