That’s more accurate I suppose. He is also disingenuously using the anger and disaffection of the losers to disrupt his opponents . But yes he definitely is not one of the losers himself.
Poland realises the threat that exists.
They know their history.
There's others who post here that know far more about Russia than me so may answer better, but afair many of those North Korea style clips come from the main state TV channel (Russia-1) and its "current affairs" (scare quote required) program "60 minutes". Not really obscure characters either e.g.

They are well paid mouthpieces for the Russian govt. delivering messages to the public on TV that Putin considers important (drumming up support for war and their fascist version of Russian patriotism, pushing the big "conflict with the West/NATO" sabre rattling rhetoric that builds up the foundation for any future wars waged in Europe after Ukraine, dehumanising Ukrainians and promoting genocidal acts in Ukraine etc.).
What the Russians watching think of it all post Feb 2022 and how much effect it has in reality, I don't know.
I speculate most would tune it out as background noise by now (and how many people here obsessively watch or pay attention to talking heads + news/current affairs programmes anyway, where information from the media is more trusted, it is a small %).
However if horrible (and obvious) propaganda like that had no effect at all, dictators would not invest in producing so much of it and excluding any competing sources of information. I think it is like advertising that way, it does affect people.
Not according to Zelensky who had a phone call with Johnson.
I don't buy the isis angle, there are no shortage of isis supporters or similar groups in Western Europe and no problem with allowing more in or challenging those here to any degree.
Isis k province draw lots of support form central Asia and will always see Moscow as up their with Western Europe as a target.
russia will happily abuse these treaties and cry foul when others stop following them (see their latest UN veto on NK sanctions) knowing that some people will keep on pursuing the law (so will sue Poland but know they can't sue russia).
After all in Ukraine. Do you not think Putin is capable of resurrecting and financing a terrorist organisation not heard of for years with the sole intention of using it as a vehicle to attack Europe?
Edit : This is a man who thinks he's God's gift to mankind and everyone else is plain stupid and if not stupid he kills them.
He is capable of anything but isis K have been growing for years and have ready access to finance, experienced fighters and remote areas in Afghanistan.
The Islamic State don't need aid or encouragement from Putin to attack Europe, many of their biggest attacks have been in Russia and will continue to be, we'll still see large scale attacks in Western Europe but those boys are working on a bigger thing than European States and wars between.
They've been dead and buried for a while now. IMO this is all Putin thinking he's too clever again and winding and financing this up again to be his terrorist force abroad. He wants to be shaking hands with western leaders again and not be hanging from a lamp post. He'll use this ISIS K to achieve all this.

Life in Belgorod .. rushing for air shelters
And heres the (in)famous pic of the "genuine" ISIS members who carried out the attack…. ,,, Muslims (genuine Muslims, that is) never use their left hand for anything like this as they consider it "Unclean".
I don't know if this has been posted before now, but one of the military big-wigs got shot 3 times, and later died in the theatre attack..
orcs give out to the desert orcs about a "country's sovereignty"🤦♂️

I believe that photo is reversed and it would be their right hand pointing up.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that Europe is in a “pre-war era” but still has a “long way to go” before it's ready to face the threat ahead.
“I don't want to scare anyone, but war is no longer a concept from the past,” Tusk said in an interview with several European media outlets. "It is real, in fact it already started more than two years ago."
Tusk said what’s most worrying right now is that “literally any scenario is possible," adding that Europe has not faced a situation like this since 1945.
Any Irish? I wonder who?
Czech media, citing intelligence sources, reported that politicians from Germany, France, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Hungary were paid by Voice of Europe in order to influence upcoming elections for the European Parliament.
Michael McFaul - Professor of Political Science, Director of Freeman Spogli Institute & Hoover Senior Fellow all at Stanford University. U.S. Ambassador to Russia, 2012-2014.
And to think: if Russia had avoided this war, all these links and compromised peoples would have probably remained undetected for years. Now, being an enemy state, the dogs are out and sniffing around.
I wonder how ready for war we are.

I doubt any Irish ones involved in the payments.
Why pay them when they would do it for nothing.
Mick Wallace would take fingernails and all if the russians offered him money. Dribbly Daly is the definition of a useful idiot though.
And is the writing on the flag reversed too? here's a correct copy, looks the same as the one showing the attackers.
You are likely right but it's just somewhere probably X that I read that the photo was reversed.
I know you are right about the left hand thing.
Yes, I read the same thing about it being reversed, but if it was , then the writing would be wrong too. No, I think someone (or ones !!!) were if trying to fake up ISIS involvement. But lots of little discrepancy's in any storys that come out of Russia. A big ven diagram is the best way to describe it. But for sure, whoever took and posted that pic, were not Muslims. Question is, who did take and post it? And why?
Meanwhile, more on the ISIS angle:-
A bit on the nose, but…….. :D
An honest ( and brave ) man in Russia tells it as it is…
Igor Kyivskyi
"In Russia, where there are several million security forces (police, national guard, etc.). Where, a second later, several police officers run up to the person and, if necessary, tie him up. But at the same time, “people” with machine guns calmly enter the shopping center, calmly kill Muscovites, and just as calmly leave the shopping center and drive away. And at this time, in such a large center and crowd of people, there were no police officers who could stop them? And of course, we sincerely «believe» that all this was not planned by Putin and the FSB."
