its hard to know if it'll still be going on in 2 years time. more and more examples of rare armour are appearing near the front like the lagoda hit with an fpv this week. it was 1 of only 5 produced and meant to ferry kremlin leadership around in a nuclear fallout, what the hell was this doing in ukraine??? this rare example along with a multitude of others (e.g. the chinese golf carts) hint at the possibility the russians are having issues sourcing APC's.
putin can conscript as many as he wants but if he doesn't have a way to ferry troops to and around the front line then the russians won't be advancing far if at all over the summer.
He should try farming.
Ok, you're right about the missile launches they would be detected but nowadays that would not be the first strike method. It would come by stealth bombers and low level cruise type missiles undetected until the moment of impact. I agree that many would die anyway.
"Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War" is a fantastic watch isn't it? It's actually where I heard that bit of info about Castro writing to Khrushchev re the potential for a first strike if Cuba was invaded.
I tell you this because I believe that the imperialists' aggressiveness makes them extremely dangerous, and that if they manage to carry out an invasion of Cuba -- a brutal act in violation of universal and moral law -- then that would be the moment to eliminate this danger forever, in an act of the most legitimate self-defense. However harsh and terrible the solution, there would be no other.
Yip @o1s1n .. great series, really well done. I have 3 episodes still left to watch, im taking my time with them rather than binge watch. I really like the Ukraine footage at the start of each episode .. as in it is professionally done and makes the situation there even more real.
Speaking of realness - I watched that show on BBC monday evening called UKRAINE - Enemy in the woods. Real close up reality .. troops wore body cams to film this at the front lines. This is the kind of thing that should be shown to lots of people who are just not getting whats going on in Ukraine
Watched Ukraine: Enemy in the Woods last night, it was really brilliant. The courage and the humanity of the soldiers was very touching. Everyone should watch it, especially fckheads arguing against giving them weapons.
He needs Putins support to prevent another Maidan on at his front door, while trying to play the neutral deal maker. Another election thief and illegal presidency on the brink.
Spreading more murder and mayhem, but pay attention to the last paragraph regarding the health of some of Putins leading lights...
How about breeding rabbits in Argentina?
It would explain why Putin refused to act on the US advisory....because he already knew what was going to happen, and why the "perpetrators" had such an easy time both getting to the theatre, entering it and carrying out the plan, while the police response took 1.5 hrs to arrive, and again the so-called perps got clean away out of Moscow..
Interesting
I doubt very much if most, or any of Putin's top brass share his death wish (assuming that he has a death wish...which I also doubt, but he's a master of brinkmanship)
Anna Politkovskaya was the one that was digging into the Ruzzian leadership's dirt and was murdered. By, coincidentally, 5 patsies.
All kinds of back and forth now - propaganda machines in over drive:
NEXTA on X: "Our little investigation into the "men in blue" has provoked much discussion among the Kremlin propaganda media and even Western investigative journalists Each of them tried to identify the "man in the chair" who was present in the "Crocus" hall at the time of the terrorist… https://t.co/1o0oXxWAOV" / X (twitter.com)
it's up on YouTube now, it will probably get taken down, so going to watch now
Speaking of whom. Here she is being interviewed a few years before her assassination.
Have a look at who is interviewing her:
Usually, they do. But they don't see Putain as a conspirator. He's a straight fella, anti-Woke, anti Gay, a good guy. The conspiracies are the work of the Deep State, and Biden and Hilary and their "pedo" ring and Obama.
What clearly struck me when I saw the people in the auditorium was the ‘calmness’ that existed. There was nobody rushing to get out. It looked like that it was’ half time’ during the show, some went out for drinks, others just sat there while a few did a bit of videoing with their mobile. There were others just standing around chatting/stretching their legs, etc, etc.. There definately was no signs of anyone panicking
Even though there may (or may not be ) some agreement between world powers not to assassinate their leaders, it clear to all parties that the actual sh1t stirrer in ruSSia is Patrushev, not Putin. But since Patrushev is technically(officially) not a leader, why is he not being terminated? It would mean general dr evil is erased, and technically no attack on ruSSias dear leader.
There were two phases of time. An announcement went up in the theatre asking people to leave and not to use the elevators. They didn't explain why. People seemed confused but were obeying in a relaxed manner. They didn't realise the danger that they were in which explains the lackadaisical nature of people during that early period.
When they started hearing the gun shots and realising what was happening there was a marked change in people's behaviour. That's when people in the foyer started panicking and running and when people in the theatre began ducking behind seats.
Don't believe anything until the russians deny it!
So, if we assume that FSB had something to do with this horror, and Russia are trying to find a link to Ukraine, then it would naturally beg the question why they didn't get some attackers who could pass for Ukrainian? Why would IS be involved? Are Russia trying a two for one deal? Raise support for one conflict, get one free?
“Europe will freeze!”
…
I posted about this here from an X tweet, guy following this. Had not reached main media yet at the time, now it is - LBC in UK
A Lithuanian defence official told Newsweek: "Russian armed forces have a wide spectrum of military equipment dedicated for GNSS interference, including jamming and spoofing, at varying distances, duration and intensity.
"Those capabilities are used to create an ‘atmosphere of threat and a sense of helplessness in society", a Polish Defense Ministry official said.
A Lithuanian defence source told the outlet: "Russian armed forces have a wide spectrum of military equipment dedicated for GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) interference, including jamming and spoofing, at varying distances, duration and intensity."
These too will become targets..
It is unlikely that Ukraine would strike oil refineries in Belarus, as there are no more rocket / drone attacks from Belarus towards Ukraine for the last year or so, and Ukraine probably wants to keep the status quo with Belarus for now.
The ukraine angle is just a false angle. They were never serious about it. It's a smoke bomb. The whole idea was to have "ISIS" back in play but an ISIS controlled by Putin. The idea was the Ukraine angle would be eventually a dead end leading back to ISIS.
Putin then uses this new ISIS which he funds for terror attacks in Europe and beyond. To have the first terror attack of this new ISIS in moscow would lead people to believe Russia and Putin are victims of ISIS instead of actually being behind this new group. Except history has shown us already how Putin used his FSB before to attack innocent Russians pretending to be terrorists. It worked before and there was no uprising. So repeat what worked again.
Putin then uses this new ISIS to attack European and Western cities under what he thinks is his fiendishly brilliant fool proof plan. He knows western security services will know it's him but they won't tell the public as to prevent all out war on Russia and Russian people. If western governments want the future ISIS attacks to stop. Putin hopes they'll beg at his paedophile feet and conditions will be to stop all aid to Ukraine.
Well, deliberately targeting people is generally frowned upon by the "civilised" west, who try to hold the high moral ground. Putin who has no morals whatsoever and has an Olympic class record on assassinating anyone who disturbs him, and is always roundly condemned after each assassination, so it would be very two faced for the west to condemn on one hand, while killing with the other. There's always the problem of killing him too, he's survived a long time, so while he may be an easier target than say Putin, thats not to say it would be easy. Definitely, he is the power behind the throne all right, especially when it comes to the real hard-line death and destruction.
I'd be surprised if they do: Belarus is a much lesser force - and Lukashenko knows this - but for now they're out of the war. If Ukraine started attacking Belarusian positions it might force Lukashenko to throw his lot in.
I don't think he could or would, cos his army's only good for putting down civil unrest, and taking part in the war might finally force proper revolution, but you'd have to imagine Kyiv won't take the risk.
Now if they can get some french and other European troops to man the Belarusian border, that'd be useful for everyone
One thing you'd say for the Russians- they have spies everywhere.
A senior polish general has been dismissed for the suspected passing of intel on Ukraine to Russia
