Iveagh Gardens is a fantastic venue. Nice and compact outdoor venue without being too small.

I agree with you.
I still think only two things will realistically happen: the industry will eat itself and some massive artist will end up playing to a half empty arena (same way the pubs are dying a slow death by pricing out the average punter) or there's enough folks with a decent chunk of disposable income who'll keep paying whatever. The current government don't like regulating the free market, they'll do nothing. The market doesn't lie and all that.
Maybe the artist needs to consider that they might be putting some fans in financial difficulty? I dunno, I doubt Stevie Nicks knows the price of a litre of milk.

Would love it but can't see them playing such a small venue here unfortunately! Don't think indie would be first way I'd describe them either. Not to burst any bubbles, would be delighted to be proved wrong! :)
