I thought he would get some jail time especially since he ran from the cops and pleaded not guilty.
He's very lucky, but not a great role model for young gaa fans.
But he didn't seem to mind having someone representing Kilkenny who threatens people with rape:

Yeah he said that and to be fair the barrister interjected to remind Kiely that a plea of not guilty was not connected to someone taking responsibility for their actions. Kiely didn't really know how to respond to that.
Well done Kilkenny that's should keep the Limerick lads quiet for a while.
I can understand how a manager, priest, Teacher, Dr, etc might speak about somebody in a positive light. However the bit the confused me was he sort of said Kyle had taken responsibility for his actions or did I misunderstand him?
Kiely let himself down badly over this. Would have been better off saying nothing. Putting him in the team before it was even concluded was a really bad move. Terrible optics.
Beauty of a family then. I wonder what they will fall back on when they inevitably get off. GAA roots? Great pillars of the community...etc.
In fairness KK getting some decisions now so maybe not!
JP's 1 million to each county looks more and more like a PR move.
He knew what was coming in Spring. Nice gesture to counter what was coming.
Joke of a red card for Eoin Cody.
Evidence?
JP has James Owens in his pocket too.
Yes his brothers.
Again the courts **** up, can't blame Hayes or Kiely for that.
Yeh, the 'Champions of fuckin Ireland' comment
Was painful in fairness
was it bubbles O’Dwyer that used the eff word live on tv when interviewed about ten mins after the win in 2016 or was it 2019….? I think he represented tipp many times after the incident Liam sheedy obviously didnt think it was too big an issue
Can't speak for Cian; but Darragh is in a highly respected job in Regeneron. Surprised by that and that it wasn't flagged with them.
They are getting a good roasting by Kilkenny now. Hope it continues.
Brothers
Brothers.
Any relation to Kyle?
Yes pox lucky
If you think this is even on the same planet.
Enoch Burke has a moral compass and a strength in his beliefs.
Hayes / Kiely haven't a shred of morality or backbone between them.
Hayes waving at idiots in cars beeping him outside the court last Wednesday, that says it all.
That is true. That's why I used the word "speculation". It'd be easier if people actually read posts before replying.
Pox luck ?
These colleagues seemed happy enough to hurl a League match with him a few weeks against Dublin. Not sure why they'd have turned against him in the meantime.
We will see.... The weight of history and all of this needless attention on the team. We will see how they deal with it when it comes down to it. Pox lucky to get out of Munster last year.
Chill Guys the right guy is in jail 🤪
If the rest of the country didn't want them to be bet before this, then they definitely will now.
I also suspect the white glove treatment they get from the refs will also change on foot of this.
I can't believe as a Galwayman who went to UL I'm saying this, but I'd prefer KK or Tipp to win at this point. Limerick are at this point the encapsulation of the phrase 'you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain'.
This particular poster always has to have a cut off kk ,was banned from the kk thread seems to have a peculiar negative obsession with kk and the success under Cody ,sad really
I don't think it will. They're in a bubble where they're champions. Anything outside of that bubble won't impact them. It's that kind of confidence and belief that would have helped them to plead not guilty and just rock up to court and say what they believe. Even Kiely getting up pulled up by the solicitor/judge, it won't take a fonk out of them. Right now, they're invincible. And getting the verdict they wanted will only help them believe that more. They've got a billionaire behind them and they're winning all around them.
