Dunnes have 5 creme eggs for €2.50.
50 eggs for €20 with a fiver voucher 😁
Stores I managed many years ago sold Easter eggs.
We got multiple pallets in on good Friday (discounted from suppliers)
You'd be amazed at how many could sell in 2 days. Rarely would have more than 50/60 left on Monday and these were cleared in a couple of hours at half price.
These days they have software that predicts sales to the last dozen and you can be fairly certain eggs will be sold out on Saturday afternoon in most places
Dunnes have the Cadbury small boxed eggs for a euro each.
If only Kinder would give a bargain just one time 😄
The bunny's are actually better value
Went with the incredible egg with the mini fingers in them instead this year
Aldi have medium eggs.. not much choice left ..at half price €2.50
I spotted 3 medium kitkat in Tesco for €3, it said mix and match but that’s all my local had left
No further reductions in tesco or Dunnes so far stock seems to be selling in Dublin City centre stores I'm holding out until tomorrow incase I eat them myself rather than gift them.
If anyone spots any instore bargains please post save a few of us a few quid.
Just tried out some of the Lir Salted Caramel truffles I ordered. I didn't realise they had dusted cocoa on the outside which makes the outside a bit bitter and has a powdery texture. The cocoa absolutely stains your fingers. Inside is lovely though.
Can't wait to try out the eggs and I have baileys salted caramel truffles on the way in my 2nd order which don't have the cocoa powder on the outside.
Daughter and myself did the same, ten eggs between us, ordered Saturday night and arrived today. Very happy, great offer!
WELCOME10
10 percent of Lir also.
Nope, non-stackable. If you're spending €25 or more, LIR20 would be better value I reckon. Otherwise, use FREESHIPPING.
Can't stack the LIR20 and FREESHIPPING codes. Just me or same for others above?
Thanks
I ordered yesterday. It was too soon 😭
Damn I was reading the thread, saw the offer and bought a few eggs…..should have read on a bit….
I added to my basket forgot to complete purchase, got email offering free deliVery within 10 minutes of leaving website..will save a further 4.99.
Lir emailed me offer. Use code freeshipping. Makes it very good deal now for one purchase
In my defence I was knackered 😂😅😅😅
I'll leave it a day or two and hope stock left as I've stuff on and don't want deliveries arriving .... typical when there's a good deal on
It's "UK shipping subject to duties and import taxes" which is applicable only to UK customers but an easy mistake anyone could make.
The chocolate is really good quality, streets ahead of Cadbury's or any of the other more popular brands. I'm not bothered when they arrive and I'll be happy to order more of them after Easter if they drop in price again.
They’re just eggs now, calling them Easter eggs is offensive to some.
Oh it popped up "distributed from UK you're liable for your own import and taxes" , I didn't even twig the Irish connection, which shows what level of stupid I was on!
Last order I bought from them delivery was 3 days from when I placed the order but you can contact customer care beforehand to check if you'll have them in time for Easter.
They're an Irish company so there's no import hassle or extra taxes.
Nice one , just bought 10 eggs for €41.60 delivered. Free delivery over €40
How fast is delivery do you know?
What's the rules around import and taxes does anyone know off hand?
Thanks a lot for this! That's my fancy easter egg craving sorted for this year.
Shipping only comes to 4.49 too. Not sure if it increases on bigger orders.
Lir Chocolates are doing 60% off some of their eggs, their chocolate is decent stuff so worth buying.
Just ordered a half dozen mix of 225g eggs (add code LIR20 for extra 20% off) and including delivery it came to 26.39.
The discount is for first time buyers but if you previously bought from them just use a different phone number than your usual one when ordering.

There will be nothing left by Easter Sunday same as the last few years I remember getting the reduced ones after Easter years ago
Noticing a lot of unsold stock. Or is this often a last minute purchase?
Small Nestle and Cadbury eggs are 0.99c each in Aldi.
My local Aldi had very little of their own "Specially Selected" eggs left.
Haven’t seen any offers but saw them in Aldi for €13 were the same price in Tesco reduced from €15 with club card but were out of stock in my local.
Anywhere have Kinder eggs on offer?
