7.6 today, most of which was this afternoon.
Tomorrow looks promising.
5.5kwh today. What a crap month March has been
Yup, I'm quite a bit down on March 23.
Wow, you guys had better weather than Galway, 24 yesterday and 2 today.
4.0kWh . Galway, 6kW array SE/SW
6.5kWh produced
2.8kWh exported
From 30 yesterday to 4.2 today.
fingers crossed for a lot of clipping today.
How do you get the forecast like that?
Highest forecast of the year so far today
First full day with the new system, east/west 6.1kw system with a 5kw battery. Generating 2.5kw right now. Impressed so far.
bash your details into this site. i've it saved to my favourites.
nice set up...best of luck with it.
Yeah I haven't even matched February so far.
You got a great first day today! They aren't all this good! Congratulations.
Same. Still 30kwh off February total.
Many thankings.
Our best day since having panels installed on the 5th generated 2.4kWh by this time, today we have 6.4kWh. Clouds kicking in now so we'll see how the rest of the day goes...
My solis app is gone offline for the first time ever so I'm hoping the Inverter is still running at home. It's been a super day so far I really hope it's still working!
@tommythecat are you with virgin media? My inverter had been offline for a while today but is back up and running.
When it came back online the data updated and everything was looking good.
I am. Maybe there was a glitch and it caused the datalogger to go offline. My wife is at home today so I got her to check and the inverter is still on and producing with no alarms so it must be the datalogger. I will have to reset it later. Thanks.
Edit. Back online. Must have been virgin media alright.
Only got my small 8 panel/3.4kwp south facing system installed on Wednesday so yesterday was the first full day of generation and the cloudy overcast day didnt generate a whole lot, a disappointing 2.7kwh.
But today has been a different bag and by 12pm it had generated 6.2kwh and is currently at 7.3. Im impressed, very, very impressed. Especially as Im a relatively lower user of electricity and tend to use on average 8kwh per day throughout the year. So it looks like I'll have 100% of my daily usage generated by 2pm today and then before the sun goes down likely some excess too.
Quick question on microgen though- currently only have an old day/night meter- do I have to get a smart meter installed to get paid for export or how does it work. If I dont install one do they estimate generation or whats the position?
The estimate on DN seems to have stopped, You should be boosted to near the top, but you possibly could give ESBN a call and see if you can hurry it up a bit more.
Will be replaced with a RM108 (lime green cover, direct replacement for DN, No change in tariff)
get on to ESBN ASAP as the excess you generate will be given away for free until the smart meter is installed.
T'was Virgin media alright. I think a DNS outage on their side (if I had to guess). Not a physical outage as I was connected to my companies machines via a VPN and everything was fine on that connection, but new browser lookups at home were problematic for the outage. Seems to be good again since about 13:30. Shame as I'd like to have seen the telemetry for today as it was shaping up to be the record I have for March. Sure we all got the actual electricity produced and will be paid for whatever exports via FIT (if any), but I'd like to have the telemetry instead of these flat lines in the graphs for the timeline. Oh well....
(I've a background in networks)
It's quiet patchy out there....
Ireland Visible - Met Éireann - The Irish Meteorological Service
Yep same here. I'm sure today will be a lot of peoples best day with new installs. I was really enjoying seeing all the exporting!
That would explain why my daughter was complaining that netflix wouldn't work but my wife was on to her remote computer ok.
Thankfully I only lost 90 mins of data.
you can say that again...
you shouldn't lose it. my solis dongle lost connection twice in the past 6 weeks and when it came back online the data from the interval appeared in the app and on the webpage.
It's definitely not accessible on the app. I just have a weird looking triangle and you can't select that section of the day, it just skips over it. It doesn't matter really as I was just happy it wasn't the inverter that went down on the best day!!
