Much better than expected in East Cork.
9.2kwh produced. Again the majority this morning. Then rubbish afternoon.
13.6kWh produced
9.5kWh exported
Nothing of note. A fairly overcast day throughout with an average I'd say of a fairly steady 0.8kW being produced.
Shelly EM measured the export.
Sun burst in the middle of the day?
5.7kWh produced
2.7kWh exported
8 kWh today, most of which was done early in the day. I was doing 2.5kw at 9 am which was a nice surprise
5.7kwh. Was going great until 11am then really overcast for the rest of the day.
15.8kwh in East Cork. I thought today was going to be a dud.
13kWh, 6.5kWp E/W Dublin yesterday. It's funny some of the questionable cloudy days have been the best so far this month.
Sun is beaming down with clear blue skies this morning but will be cloudy with rain at lunchtime. Oh well!
21.4 today
Ya, cooler temps with good sunshine equals higher peak power.
22.4 kWh
5kW Solis inverter. 5.16 kWp SE [PV2]; 1.72 kWp NW [PV1]. Dublin.
18.6kWh produced, 14.7kWh exported.
heating, hot water and electric for the day estimated to be 60 cent for the day (net cost with standing charge factored in).
15.8kw from a S facing 4.3kwh array in south Dublin.
Interesting I hit a peak of 4.49kwh, I didn't realise the panels could be more efficient.
23.8kwh in Cork
10.4kwh today in Dublin.
28.1kwh. Nice enough in East Cork today, horrible to see my inverter clipping, need to apply for an Nc7🤪
And obviously if you can DIY it yourself it is substantially cheaper.
Thanks @con747 and @tommythecat - it looks like price-gouging at it's finest alright.
I recently got a 5.3kwh battery alongside a PV system installation for €2,500.
Might be best to post in the quotes thread https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058329045/domestic-solar-pv-quotes-2024-no-pm-requests-see-mod-note-post-1#latest If the battery quote is €4850 they are ripping you off. There is a BMS needed as well as the battery. https://midsummer.ie/buy/HuaweiSolar/LUNA2000-5-E0
Guys, (especially those of you who may recently have purchased a system including a battery, or have a recent quote for both with and without a battery) - am I missing something here? €4,850 after 40% reduction is c. €8,000 at full price..... for a 5KWH Huawei battery? Are there other components, like a controller module etc, pushing up the price here, or is it just price gouging? €8K is around the (pre-grant) price for the 9 panel system I purchased, and I've seen quotes posted that include €3.5K extra for a 5KWH battery.....
Apologies if I'm derailing the thread, and thanks in advance for any advice.
3.2kwh. 'Nuff said.
2.1kWh
The house was enveloped in a thick fog most of the day.
20.4 yesterday, we will take it!
hit max 6.82 from a 6.7 array today 🥳, March with cool temps and little dust in the atmosphere makes for good intense 🌞🌞😄
bye bye winter
holy moly!
42.8kWh from a 11.2kW e/w array east Mayo.
23.7 kWh from a 7.8 kw due south system, Kildare
