You pay max €80 per month for prescription drugs, and your mrs can be added too, so €80 p/m will cover the 2 of you. Also covers a full family.
ETA: Remember to claim back 20% from Revenue too, so that will work out at €64 p/m.
It's a rare occasion it went above, monthly normal meds just under limit.
While we’re mentioning ways to save a hit at the pharmacy it’s always worth asking about generic brands too.
It’s always the same medicine just without the expensive brand name.
I laugh in savings whenever I see someone paying €4+ for Panadol.. my €1.99 paracetamol will be lovely thanks. 🤣
That is true in some cases , but I know from experience that in some drugs ( not headache tablets ) there’s a big difference between the generic and trademarked ones . Even DR’s know that as my parents GP sent a note with their prescription to give what he wrote and not the generic equivalent
25 years nearly with same issues, familiar with most crap unfortunately 😕 just a dose of generic antibiotics pushed the bill up

In bed, getting ready for sleep but feeling stressed and low.
I’d been doing some guest/visiting lecturing a while back in a university that shall remain unnamed for now and I’m owed quite a bit of money - but the hassle, frustration and stress I’ve experienced over the past fortnight trying to negotiate their incredibly complex IT portal where trying to successfully log in has been a nightmare and all the hoops I’ve had to jump through just to submit a pay claim online - to no avail - and an extremely unhelpful IT support there (with no phone number, of course) has got me to the point where I will be going out there tomorrow in person into their payroll office to sort this ridiculous issue out and demand they resolve this issue and pay me what I’m owed.
8 hours and I'm done until Tuesday.
Just need to start them.

is that madness? I’d honestly declare it off road all year and just tax it for summer. Insurance is a pain though cos you can’t get short term, so prob better just to pay for the year and use it as often as the weathers nice.
I would keep the car for daily driving the bike would just be for myself. I know there’s a heap of risk re collisions and your chances but I don’t care honestly.
I’ve wanted a bike since I was a kid. 🤣

A really good way to burn some energy . I used to do it years ago and no better way to get it out of your system
Chilling here, managed to get that ridiculous portal access issue resolved....by going direct to the IT desk of the institution in question and demand they sort it out...which they did, in fairness.
Taking it easy over the St. Patrick’s weekend, May do a bit more art when the mood takes me. 🖼 🎨
