Like, who would track this sort of thing? Seems a bit stalkery.
No, he's just rarely picked
I wouldn't say no idea.
I mean all provincial games are televised and I can't recall ever seeing Farrell, Catt (while he was around) or Easterby at one of the games that are played outside of Dublin.
Maybe they go in disguise or the TV directors only pick them out of the crowd during games in the Aviva.
It wasn't unusual to see Schmidt, Kidney or O'Sullivan at Thomond Park.
What an unusual take on a question on whether our national rugby coaches attend a provincial rugby game.
Eh, nooooo. Jack Crowley has single handedly fixed the broken Irish coaches and praise be that he has!
There was a centre in the Munster schools cup final there who looked pretty handy, get him in camp ASAP.
They don’t go to games outside of Dublin. All of them being born and raised in Dublin means they have a natural and unashamed Leinster bias. They don’t even try to hide it, the scoundrels.
Not even sure Farrell has a valid passport for outside the Pale.
Nope don't think so
Just for the record, my responses are exactly at the level they should be to some of the absolute hilarity being posted here. I’ve given up trying to post in good faith with people who have no interest.
5 3 bench
Wasn't Henderson doing media during the week? Seems an odd way to go about things though I assume he knew the story himself.
Plenty to get the job done.
Welcome back. Crappy take on what I asked though.
Where have is said, implied, suggested that they have a Leinster bias.?

Oh I’m not at all worried about crappy takes. There’s no shortage of them here at the moment it would seem. I’ll just blend right in.
Yeah surprised by that. It’s very unusual a guy does press and isn’t selected. Not sure I can remember it happening before tbh.
You ok hun
Poor from Farrell picking the same team. Not surprised though as he boxed himself in.
The main starter deserving to be dropped is his recently selected captain - which was always going to be a quite likely scenario, as discussed back when he was given the role. Even the 6-2 and now not having a pure second row on the bench is in part down to the fact that POM isn't an 80 minute player anymore, outside of it being enforced.
The other player that shouldnt be in the 23 is a guy they just announced a new contract for, that the IRFU is part funding.
Even if they play well at the weekend, they are on the downside of their careers and the younger players should be given an opportunity after they performed so poorly last weekend.
Sad to see an Ireland side with zero Ulster representation. But outside a few players, there's hardly anyone from up north that deserves a place currently.
Meh, it's the last game of the tournament with a title to play for. It was never going to be the game to fire in the young lads if they hadn't been tried against Italy and Wales.
it could be the swan song for some of these players so i have no problem with him sticking with the same team that got us to the position of only needing 1 point to win the championship on the final weekend.
we can be thinking about replacing these players from here on.
Why do you gone the coaching ticket a pass. They should be gone as well. The ultimate failure that is Irish rugby at the moment is due to them
Agreed. And it might be the last 6 nations outings for Murray and POM. That would be my preference anyway.

I feel like this from a week ago warrants a re-post. Lots of lads here need to give their heads a wobble. There's no shame in losing a game.
Unless they're retiring, which clearly Murray is not from his new contract, then this shouldn't play into it.
Starting Baird and having Casey on the bench is hardly 'firing in the young lads'.
I don't think Ben Healy is much more than a depth player for Scotland in reality. Between the 9 games of the RWC and 6N, he has about 90 minutes of rugby....80 of which came in the game against Romania.
Given they've reportedly approached Fergus Burke and Fin Smith this year, it would seem they're still looking to upgrade their options there.
Scottish rugby has a ridiculous lack of adequate outhalves. Ben Healy has played every single minute of URC rugby this season for Edinburgh which is an incredible statistic. Not one minute of game time given to another outhalf. I think their only legitimate option aside from Healy is Cameron Scott who is a young utility back covering centre and full back as much as outhalf.
The video analysis that is available now versus then is night and day, especially comparing to the Kidney and EOS days.
There is close to zero benefit in assessment terms for Irish coaches going in-person vs what they would get from all the angles available on tape and specific player packages.
Now there probably is an element that might be there for fans and players to 'feel' better that the Irish coach is there watching their province. It is all in the head but shouldn't be ignored - as can be seen by you highlighting it here and using it as another stick to hit the IRFU with.
You should probably add the 36 year old prop to your list of oldies if your being genuine
