Feels like the right time to start a new thread for next year's gigs.
John Mayer playing the 3Arena on 29 March 2024.
They played 11 songs in Glasgow last night. That is disgusting. One cover song by The Rolling Stones.
That is what you call some rip off. There are a few comments here about his health, people knew what they were buying etc. Get your head out of the sand. Gallagher and Squire are having a right auld laugh at the suckers who signed up for this - to bump up their pension funds.
He gave interviews saying the tour would be the album and an odd cover song and that it would not include oasis, his solo or stone roses material.
if he didn’t say anything and people got 55 minutes, people would have legit grievance.
Couldnt have picked a lazier cover. Pub band stuff.
Well then charge less. For that price, it's daylight robbery and an insult to gig goers.
Also, how many band interviews do you expect people to listen to before buying tickets to a gig? To say it was caveated somewhere is a cop out. Nothing stopping them padding the gig out with two or three more covers if they're that against doing their own stuff.
Seems like they are damned either way tbh... play your old bands material and get slated for pandering to nostalgia.. play all of your original material it's not long enough.
Or just play a few additional songs that aren't from their own catalogue.
Or charge less.
He only played for 55 minutes?!
that’s a joke
Album with John squire is only 40 mins!
Megan thee stallion playing here in the summer. Date to be announced next week
55 minutes is a joke, most concerts are only getting going at that stage.
The cynic in me thinks the whole thing was a ploy to get people to preorder the album or buy the album bundle in order to artificially increase the album sales so as to get to No 1.
Every act is at this nowadays but 11 songs is just a joke, imagine travelling to Dublin, forking out 250 euro for a hotel room for 55 minutes, lol.
1.63 euro per minute, even Taylor Swift is lower than that.
What songs?
People slag Liam off for doing Oasis songs.
I agree about pricing, but everything is too expensive. It's 7.20 for a pint in that venue.
I dunno, if I liked the record I'd be happy to go. I'd just avoid the merch stand and the bar.
A few people in here who are in denial it seems. Sunk cost fallacy at its finest.
Outrageous stuff. 55 minutes for €80. Great bitta business if your Liam or John.
It was actually 90 euro.😄
Or €105 if you were forced to buy album to get standing..... also needed the album for presale.....I've now got 3 cds....ended up using the "three presale " in the end . Oh well
If they can muster up a Rolling Stones cover, I'm sure they could find a couple more from somewhere.
Plenty of up and coming artists tour they're only album and do more than 50 minutes.
Just seen that Ticketmaster have announced that BLK on Sunday night is non transferable now but they never announced this when they went on sale!
First James Arthur last week and now this!
Surely Ticketmaster can't get away with doing this again and again?!!
It's not ideal but at the end of the day you can still send someone a screenshot......doesn't really stop you from reselling it completely
screenshots wont work withthe new set up they have ,
Can't screenshot the new barcoded mobile tickets that refresh every 5 seconds.
one resale ticket on Tm when i Looked a while ago - People must be really pissed off lol
Amazingly, that's the last gig they played outside of the UK. 6 years ago.
I'm going anyway. Just got a ticket. Not sure I'll even bother with Villagers. Will have a long drive back.
Fair enough, wasn't aware that was in Place. Ye that's not good at all
Only can share the account if not going or walk in with a person if selling spare
coldplay have no sell or transfer up and the barcode will only come up 3 days before the gig
Coldplay will more than likely have transfer allowed the week of the gig
if the codes only appear 3 days before the event , that might limit it
Springsteen was the same last year. Transfer was enabled the week of the gigs.
Theres over 200,000 Coldplay tickets, be complete chaos if they didn’t allow it.
Its illegal to sell non transferrable tickets without clearly stating this up front at the point of purchase.
you dont need to buy the album, theres always a 'no purchase necessary' link on all presales
i used this for LG/JS
That's exactly what I thought!
I really can't get how more hasn't been reported about this!
