Anyone hear anything from Spark Crowdfunding regards ASX (ASX2) SAFE investment? Last I hear was a need to vote on the shareholding type.. to switch it to EIIS back in Dec 23.
Will run out of funds soon enough.
well that’s not good.
Any idea if the ‘Simple Agreement for Future Equity’ will qualify for the EIIS credit?
Not at the moment as far as I know. Will be a lot of people outta pocket soon enough unfortunately. That's the risk of it.
974 investors with an average loss of about 3,300 each.. (about 3M eur funding)
If not EIIS, I wonder if the loss can be used as a tax loss?
Don't think you can tbh.
Three med tech, EII options were mentioned today on a Business Post message on my phone. All three are university spin outs: PumpinHeart, AVeta Medical, AuriGen Medical. Videos on sparkcrowdfunding.
Is anyone aware of Farrangalway Solar Farm raising funds with 50% relief ?
Yea got the email, haven't looked into it too much yet but will have a good goo when I get the prospectus. Looks good on the face of it.
where can one find more details about this?

Anyone looking @ anything this year?
I had thought the new relief was only 30% but I see it is 35% which has softened my stance a bit if I can find something decent. I see some of the funds are now targeting 40%+ tax relief, presumably through a blend of 35 and 50 per cent

escooters anyone? https://zeusscooters.com/eiis-investment-opportunity/
No thanks.
I've been out of the game so to speak the last year or two. What's the story with tax relief now?
Hi All,
Considering EII for 2024 tax relief. It will be my first experience.
Any recommendations on EII funds (BVP, BES, etc.) or individual companies? Thanks!
Regards
Quintas worth a look imo

Whether you go with individual companies or funds depends on risk appetite and how much you have to invest
Thanks @caviardreams
Risk appetite low. Want to invest 12-15K being first timer. Please let me know your you recommendation based on this info? Thanks!!
It's really a case of DYOR - EIIS scheme is very, very high risk. Less risk with a fund due to diversification but still high risk. If risk appetite is low maybe EIIS is not for you. Some funds may have a min investment of 20k so check what the different companies offer in terms of charges and minimums

Is the business post's supplement out next week?
Receieved the signed EIIS via email from Spark Crowdfunding. 40% return better than nothing I guess.
Here are the business post EIIS features

The new trend of no coupon on top of the tax relief is annoying.
Velo coffee, Zeus scooters, Medwrite.ai look interesting. Maybe 35% over 4 years is passable given likely low deposit rates and volatile markets. Still
