Nearly home time, roll on bed...........π΄
Got home a couple of hours ago after a hectic few days and I was absolutely shattered. Naturally I'm now wide awake.
Sitting with my 1st coffee of the day watching Alfred Hitchcock presents . I used to love watching that and Tales of the Unexpected. Weird , moralistic 1/2 hour programmes . If only Laurel and Hardy and Harold Lloyd would be next Iβd happily spend the day watching them .
Tales of the unexpected and the twilight zone were really good.
Wondering is there any point hanging out the clothes. It's windy but showery.
In other news I am going to make an amazing chicken sandwich with a big mug of tea.
Also, annoyed that people don't respond on what's app for days. I don't mind a day. But days, huh.
Iβd forgot about The Twilight Zone
Still in bed here, very lazy long lie-in today but I've well deserved it. π π
Will get up shortly to put the heating on, go out and buy some chocolate (have a craving π) and watch the rugby match later. π π
Looks like that mess of a referendum is scuppered. Good. Varadkar, O'Gorman and McEntee ALL need to go.
After sending a scathing message about Yodel. Fcuking driver just left my package outside without even knocking on the door . Prick
Have a rabbit to cook here. Think I need to roast it. Google time !
yeah you can roast it if you want but I highly suggest if you do go low and slow. Rabbit will get tough if you cook it too harshly, I also suggest if you can to seal it in a pan before you roast!
Line the bottom of your dish with chunky cut carrot, onion & celery, some sprigs of fresh thyme and garlic bam bam π
Also bowser if you brine it in buttermilk for a couple of hours if you can it will be absolutely falling apart!!
Super - Thanks @[Deleted User]
Awake early again. Boo.
Took our crazy dog to the vet for his vaccinations, he was well behaved, Trying to find a trainer for him as OH is at her wits end with his walking behaviour, one day he will happily walk 8km, next day he might manage 1km and demand to go home, she isnβt impressed.
Watching the rugby, with F1 also showing, just typical that they are both at the same time.
Well done Italy.
On way to work, I feel another sh1tstorm brewing π
Good man I had forgotten about the GP . Bloody Saturday race
I am absolutely freezing all day here. Weird! Pot of curry made, plus a pot of stew π²π²
I havenβt eaten a rabbit in 40 years.
ah well , no grand slam this year
Lapin rΓ΄ti, pommes de terre, carottes et sauce. π
Lovely, nicer than chicken, and sealed on the pan first as suggested by @[Deleted User]
Ireland, England so close. π
Rabbit is lovely, enjoy π
Ramadan starts tomorrow night, so no way that the F1 would be held tomorrow.
BLUE was totally unimpressed with the noise of the F1 post race fireworks
Cracking rugby game, but really dont know why Ireland kicked the ball away with 90 seconds left.
Iβm after thinking up a scam to screw the lazy yodel driver who just dumped my package outside . Iβm going to say I never received it. They donβt have a photo of it in my door , or signed for.
**** him/her if they were in a hurry to watch the rugby.
Don't mind me, I just need some sleep.... and some peace and quiet.
Did you buy it or catch it ?
It was definitely bought.
I was reared on rabbit . I caught ( snared ) them . The funny thing is my sister and brothers would deny ever eating rabbit. Theyβre too faux posh now.
any extra we had I sold to a neighbour who dealt in them
How old is he? He wouldn't have arthritis or something, maybe someday could be worse then others?
Home from work, now to mouth breathe and feel generally miserable with Mrs G for a few days
Checking out all Ireland football odds . Monaghan only 66/1 but still worth a punt π·
Overwhelmed with stuff ?
