And he charged her a fortune.
Thanks, you'd wonder if other photos might not be of a scene as it was found?
For instance, photos of the front door lock appear to show an unlocked door.
What I found funny was when Leo Bolger put in the sink for Sophie he put it a yard away from the taps, and too high for little Sophie, she needed a step-up to reach it!
Meanwhile... misconduct like this get caught up in red tape.
DREW HARRIS HAS lost an appeal in court over his move to dismiss a garda who admitted to engaging in a sexual act with a “vulnerable” witness in a garda station.

This is from the crime scene photos. Whatever it is on the back of the chair it's in some photos and not others. It was probably put there by the crime scene examiners. I did think it might be one of the tarpaulins.
It’s no wonder this case wasn’t solved; gardai are concerning themselves with far more serious matters like the case of the “stolen” bicycle

Sorry. Answered wrong question. I'll check.
I'll have to check but I believe they were taken by Pat Joy on 26th December.
Is there a name and date it was taken by any chance?
If it helps I've read every statement in the French file and there is no further mention of the bags. One odd thing though is the mention, on the exhibits list, of a piece of plastic with red substance on it and 2 suspect hair samples which were seized on 26th December. There is no further info about where or who they came from and, although they were sent to the lab, nothing further was done with them.
No, she carried on to Schull to do her shopping, the bags remained at the side of the road at the cordon. When Shirley returned she had to leave her car in the same place, out by the cordon. I don't know if the bags were ever searched.
Edit;
Someone will be along to say the bags were "clearly searched" no doubt.
Did Shirley proceed to the dump without the bags?
Maybe this:
(You didn't quote what post you were replying to, but I assume it was my post just above yours)
"We've been over this. Here is the statement of the garda. It feels like your doubting him. The allegation that the gardai allowed Shirley drive off with a car full or rubbish is completely false and a myth."
I made no such allegation.
You actually quoted Healy's statement that I had quoted to you earlier
What I questioned was this from you
In his statement Sgt Healy arrived at 2:15, he spoke to colleagues, Shirley arrive across the field and Healy explained to her the rubbish bags would have to be removed from her car. There is no mention of any search done on the car. In fact if Healy's timing is correct there was only just time to take the bags out of the car as 5 mins after Healy's arrival Shirley met Bailey and Jules further down the lane. They exchanged a few words .Bailey's arrival at the cordon for the first time was recorded as 2:20.
Any you persist in saying that the car was "clearly searched" as a fact.
I don't honestly know what that poster is on about, as he/she is completely lacking in specifics.
What on earth are you talking about?
If you are going to occassionally post that's fine. But at least when attacking a poster have the decency to be specific about what you are attacking them about.
So what exactly was I wrong about. Give us a specific post at least I can address.
If you look back over recent pages, its been others who have been wrong on several matters.
It might be tiresome but if Alfie lied about knowing Sophie and had a false alibi i'd be more suspicious of him too
@tobefrank321 So in other words you were wrong but just can't bring yourself to say that?
For an aggressive attacking style of poster (which there is nothing wrong with) you are wrong quite often, no?
Look as a neutral poster we all get where you have nailed your opinions and views.. as you are quite entitled to..but what rankles with some is your almost ignorant dismissal of other posters who have equally strong views that they are also entitled to hold.
It's tiresome to read to be honest..
Well, the received narrative is that she had "gone to bed" - was in her nightie, phoned her husband saying she was in bed. So her supper things would more likely have been put away (maybe!) - at least the cut slice, which would soon go stale if left out. I believe a used wineglass was found. So supper was probably over.
The late-night-caller-or-intruder theory would suggest that Sophie came downstairs to answer the door, or investigate a noise etc - and she'd hardly have cut a slice of bread at that point, would she? I think breakfast looks more likely.
The French have a habit of drinking it at night!
Yes, doubtful you’d have coffee last thing at night too.
That gate looks like it has a dent in it, as if it was rammed in the middle. Wonder was it always like that.
Or might have been if she wasn't interrupted?
The loaf of bread was out on the board, with a slice cut.
That definitely looks more like an early-morning, for breakfast; rather than a late-night snack which would probably have been put away.
No - it's definitely a scene of crime photo.
A lot of the photos were taken after dark, both inside and out, including the one below.
Byrne says in the statement he took the photos on the 24th, but it was probably after midnight by the time he got set up.
However, this one appears to have been taken late afternoon/ early evening, see the sky to the west;
Edit; it's possible this is not a scene of crime photo, maybe a press photo from when forensics had left.
Note the rogue blue jacket on the back of the chair, not in other photos.
No - the photo WAS definitely taken on the 23rd. Unfortunately it is attributed to someone who wasn't there.
Bags are in the car in the picture which it is stated was taken on 24th yet the bags were supposedly removed in 23rd?
Exactly!!!
Well he did next day the 24th it appears, post mortem began at 2:pm I believe;
It would be completely dark after 10pm!
He didn't arrive until gone 10pm as he came down from Dublin with Eugene Gilligan.
