Red Robin Hedge

Hi, Could anyone advise on how to deal with a red robin hedge that is losing all its leaves.

It a 6 foot high hedge that has been planted for 7 years and this is the first time this has happened.

Most of the leaves have thse black spots so i guess it's got some sort of disease.

Would anyone know how to deal with this? Do we leave it alone and it will return to health by itself or do we need to spray it with something or take some action?
