They pay the drivers 5 euro per delivery. So they are subsidising you not being arsed to go to the shop... which you cant even put a value on.

Fair play, I tried doing this for a couple of months this year to get a few extra quid post Christmas. Driver gets a flat €5.15 per run regardless of where the run is too. A 10km run is paid the same as a 1km run. It's genuinely not worth it for the driver given the cost of fuel, wear and tear to vehicle, etc. It's not terrible when it's busy and you can get 3 or 4 runs an hour but it's rarely so (outside of Dublin anyway).
Any tips given by the customer genuinely goes a long way for the driver and I always really appreciated getting one, size of it didn't matter too me.
@Hippodrome Song Owl I never even knew that there was an online tipping facility if that helps answer your question 😀 I know that there is a facility where you can donate to charity online if this is what you mean?
No, it's not the charity donation. When you use the pizza tracker and once the driver starts the trip, it gives you an option to tip your driver. I always give a small cash tip but just wasn't sure if driver would prefer the digital one - was worried perhaps he would see I wasn't giving the online tip as he was on his way to deliver and might take that badly and delay, or prioritise those who do give online tip.
