The tv nestled between the sink and the shower.....what could possibly go wrong 🙄
Carpet in the bathroom!!!!
Yeah the bathroom with the carpeted bath is not ideal, is it? 🤣 There is something amazing about someone picking a strong theme and sticking with it throughout the house though. It's kind of breathtaking. No, I don't want to live there but I'd love to visit!
Strange set up here, no segregation between the houses
Looks like an office building from the front. I tell you what, if I had 2.5 million to spend on a house, that would not be it...
indeed!
My chickens would cause havoc without a fence to keep them from the neighbours
Grange road property, is part of a family compound. Bobby Healy.... Cartrawler, Manna drone deliveries.
Pretty much this!
A beach (or walking distance) property in Sutton Howth Malahide would be much higher on the list.
What's with all the rugs??!!
serious amount of rugs and no BER rating....
someone is getting out!
They have an annual charity event. Sound system was louder than Guns n Roses gig next door. Local residents went stir crazy.
I actually quite like it aside from those rugs. You wouldn't expect it to be in Rathfarnham though as others have said, not to diss Rathfarnham but would expect it to be somewhere a bit more sought after/upmarket or near the sea as said.
I was thinking it must be a frailly things with the 3 big houses on the same plot and no walls or fences between them. I can only assume they are all parking their cars in the courtyard next door as well, no driveways.
For that money and the square footage the Rathfarnam house looks very cramped. The outside is lovely apart from the lack of privacy but there's no sense of space in any of the rooms inside. Maybe it could do with a bit less furniture but it all looks too cluttered. The term "you couldn't swing a cat in it comes to mind" which shouldn't be the case with that space.
For the record, I'm not condoning swinging actual cats before I get cancelled.
Clear glass in all the bathrooms and no boundary between properties, it's a peeping Tom's wet dream.
No segregation, no driveway - if parking is in that little area at the side, it looks like you have to run across the grass from the car?
I gave up trying to count the number of rugs, yet not a single bath or shower mat for when you step out wet onto a tiled floor.
I'm always fascinated by the lack of washing lines too.
€2.5mil my ass.
Before that house went up for sale the current owners should have separated the plot with some fencing/walls, looked for planning for a seperate driveway and actually completed the new driveway. There is no chance of selling it the way it is currently laid out with no bounderies and shared driveway/parking etc.
I hate the outside of the house but quite like the inside. The current decor is doing the inside of the house no justice at all.
"I'm always fascinated by the lack of washing lines too."
A lot of new houses gone up around here in the last few years.......Havnt seen a washing line out of one of them
Guess they are all running tumbler driers :(
AND another thing......they are all massive houses 4k+ sqft on postage stamp sized plots ( DINKYs to 2 kids per house )
The first thing I thought of when I saw the aerial views. That, plus all the gigs in Marley Park won't make for a peaceful life for the poor rich dopes who buy this property.
Despite reading the comments I was *not* prepared for the clutter, I could feel my chest tightening
Not sure if this one has come up before, €12m buys an exceptional property in Dublin.
How the other half live! The swimming pool is quite impressive
That's my home house. I grew up there and as I tell everyone I came from the bottom.
That house in Killiney is something else.
If you took all the rugs from the Rathfarnham house and all the sofas from the Killiney house, you could set up a fairly substantial furniture shop 🤪
Beautiful exterior and location.
Awful interior decor.
From this picture, it looks like this house when sold, won't get part of the shared parking, if the white line is the boundary.
Things I always look for - practicalities like a private driveway(!), room for a washing line, and where to store the wheelie bins! :)
And physical boundaries. Good fences make good neighbours.
How do you get the groceries in from the car?
The help would that.
