The Burke clan met Pat Storey, the C of I Bishop of Meath and Kildare & patron of Wilsons School outside a restaurant and did their usual trick of blocking the O/P's freedom of movement, this time of access to her car outside the restaurant while Mum directed her usual line of questions to people she holds responsible for Enoch being in prison for his religious beliefs. The Bishop eventually did enough to get inside her car and get it's door closed despite the best attempts of the Burke clan. Ma Burke went on about the bishop siding with two other named persons at the school promoting transgenderism and not upholding C of I ethics and God on the latest of Josiah's videos.

I was curious as to how the Burke's knew the bishop was at the restaurant, are they trailing her and others they don't like around the country for non-accidental public crossing-of-paths meetings? Coincidentally the restaurant and Wilsons School are both in Co Westmeath. The school is the C of I diocesan school for Meath & Kildare.
I just want to see one person, one person, who, when "confronted" by Mammy Burke in public with the usual tirade of "My son is in prison, what do you have to say?" replies
"Your son is in prison for his contempt of court in ignoring a High Court order. He can leave whenever he decides to stop being an idiot".
(Bonus points if they then walk away with a hair flip).
Of course, if the Burkes got a reply like that on camera, they'd never post it.
But damn, I'd pay good money to see someone put Mammy Burke in her place.
Problem is, for one someone may already have done that we'd never know.
Second, these are religious fundamentalists who are far, far past any capability towards an intellectual position. Even account for Moma Bear energy, the Burkes (sorry Doctor) are clearly channeling some serious martyrdom that goes beyond fighting on behalf of one of theirs. Said it before but don't see where it all ends given these are people past reason. Yet the problem is foundationally one of reason (ie, the law)
Mate of mine has a training collar for his dog that squirts water at its face if it goes too near places he doesn't want the dog to get at, like the flowerbeds and such. Can they not, you know, just slap something like that onto Enoch and let him out, but every time he goes near the school it screams out 'Enoch Burke is an idiot' or squirts him with something smelly?

Enoch's salary, presumably money from the other children, and external donations might figure too - of which good luck there figuring the origins thereof there. Do they have a gofundme?

Well given that it will be a bench trial and part of his argument is going to be that a judge lied..... I then we can make an educated guess how it is going to pan out, that is if the rest of his family don't raise hell in court and it heads off down some rabbit hole.
Asked by the judge to “please stop” as she did not have a right of audience before the court, Ms Burke continued asking the judge to "retract that offensive statement that it is ancient history".
The judge then told her the court would have to rise to have her removed if she did not stop and requested the registrar to call the next case.
Ms Burke continued to speak before she was again told by the judge the court would have to rise if she did stop. Ms Burke said the judge should be "ashamed of yourself, this case is all about his religious beliefs". She then left the courtroom.
And remember this is Ammi Burke, qualified solicitor: she knows full fúcking well how she's expected to behave in court - and chooses not to because it suits their sense of martyrdom. This family's singular and continuous inability to respect our legal system's rules of behaviour doesn't suggest this latest hearing is gonna go any better; or indeed that they'll accept any judgement that decides there was no defamation.
I wonder if any of the Burkes have registered or looked at Boards to see how the public has reacted to their crusade: do you think they've read this thread? Hi guys ... just so you know, God doesn't appreciate this nonsense and he did specifically send his son down to tell you all to love everyone & chill out. Just a thought like.
They use the word Shame for everything, a family with a no sense of it shouting it at everyone for everything is quite ironic.
