Well if I head west it's into the sea .
A fair appraisal of the " dire situation " in Ukraine from the bastion of the liberal left The Guardian.
A welcome change from dubious twitter posts .

That's exactly it. If Putin decided to give up tomorrow, declaring Russia has accomplished its goal in Ukraine a large percentage of Russians would either believe it or just stay quiet. The rest of the world would see it for the horse dung it is. As regards the fate of Putin, anyone hoping democracy will flourish with the demise of Putin is going to be sorely disappointed. The mafia/ kleptocracy culture he has created there will likely long outlast him.
Back at the beginning, first no one believed that Putin would actually invade Ukraine. But then when Putin did invade, it was considered that Russia, with the 2nd mightiest army in the world, and with nuclear weapons to boot, would take Ukraine in a very short time, so no one was interested in discussing, never mind acting militarily. It was considered a done deal. What could anyone do? But then Ukraine showed their mettle, and the rest as they say is history. And so we are where we are.
The Russians know they'd get their arses handed to them if they had to face off against any sort of competent western coalition. Take how Russia has struggled against a Ukrainian army constantly crying out for resources, and add in the direct involvement of the Polish or French militaries. Russian forces would be sent limping back to Moscow.

and when these are wasted, thats two clown states dry of shells.
Once again people fall for Russian Propaganda.
They we’re discussing what targets could be hit if they supplied Taurus missiles, you know a sensible conversation to be careful not to escalate things.
Germany have said they wing be sending them anyway.
Why oh why do people still swallow Ruzzian propaganda and lies after all these years??
How many of these will be explode the artillery pieces that fired them, or are duds ?
Do you ever get the feeling that there's a propaganda war at foot. And Putin has a bag of air. Only this time bag of air by ten times the European Union.
You'd be wondering is this bluff by China Belfast for the benefit of the dissenters in Russia to stop them getting their tails up against Putin.
lets hope, the most
Ukraine reporting that half of the shells NK supplied Russia don't work. So as you say, once NK stockpile is depleted, can NK keep up a steady supply?
"You are of the view" - a view backed up by exactly nothing and contradicted by every Russian action in disregarding and not honouring any agreement with Ukraine, from Budapest to Minsk. Why would this one by any different?
3 million shells.. why not 3 billion? Must be true because an account called Bricsinfo says so. "unbiased coverage of all things BRICS".
It's based on information from South Korea:
Thanks, so they're talking about the amount of containers sent since September, which is a bit different to "sends 3 million shells".
Also "6,700 containers to Russia, which could accommodate up to approximately 3 million rounds of 152 mm artillery shells or 500,000 rounds of 122 mm artillery shells"
So they're just guessing the amounts.
The account is from Zhang Meifang - Chinese diplomat who is serving as the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Belfast, United Kingdom since 2018. So at least the account seems legit regardless. I do tend to check these things before posting
It is known that NK are supplying Russia with shells for a long time. What Zhang said is not a stretch to imagine really. If true it does show how Putin and co are being kept with arms supply from NK.

Finally a bit of **** evidence Russia planes are dropping from the sky.
Going by that Wikipedia page on her.
Is she a rogue agent or tweeting under orders from China?
She's not very truthful in her tweets.
How are they managing to hit planes so far behind Russian lines?
Another report stated there was a threat to the shipping and have been sending material via rail
North Korea are shipping shells to Russia? Fantastic news: that'll rid Ukraine of a few pesky artillery units when those shítty NK shells blow up in the barrel.
I assume that's a typo in the article and should be 5,000,000 122mm shells.
And yes I believe they just took the volume of a 155mm shell (0.1m cubed) and a 40 foot container (67m cubed) and figured out if they were packed floor to ceiling you get approx 3mil shells in 6,700 containers.
They certainly were not empty containers nor where they filled to the rafters.
I think the issue is as well north Korea gave a lot of their artillery that was decades old so there was a very high rate of these being duds but they have gone all out now and are having their factories who produce them working 24/7 so I presume the newer artillery ammo will work a lot better so might be the case there will be less duds going forward and I suppose Ukraine can't strike into north Korea so it's probably a handy constant supply that Russia wil get from them.
I heard earlier today (not sure where, might have been Denys on YouTube) that the NK supply has already come to a shuddering halt, and no new deliveries have been observed since the megadelivery a couple of months ago.
I don't think anyone outside of Russia or NK know. NK could have supplied a significant part of their stockpile to Russia and are now replacing their own stockpile. I cannot imagine NK depleting their stockpile and producing solely for Russia.
They still see the US and South Korea as enemies and without mass artillery they would fear an invasion etc...
Whatever the case, Ukraine needs the artillery advantage again. Either through the west ramping up or giving Ukraine the tools to hit ammo depots like the good aul days.
I don't know but one example would be a PAC 2 patriot missile but only if they moved them up a bit.
Please please please be true. I can only imagine the Russian meat wave losses if the dramatic artillery advantage over the last few months was to run out.
And the russians seem to have forgotten they invaded Poland in 1939, as allies of the nazi's.
That's why I put 'supposedly' in my post.
