That's pretty shocking. I've an order in with est delivery Apr - May but would cancel if it ends up reverting to 6.9% and if they're reneging on it now, there's very little chance of it being extended. Will keep an eye on inventory coming in though for the MY.
It seems the only cars that Tesla are reneging on now are ex demo cars that are not new. Someone in Tesla told people to switch from a car on the boat to an ex demo to ensure the 0% it seems. Whether they got that 0% assurance on the demo car in writing/email will determine the outcome of this battle I suspect. Tesla will play hardball but I think if anyone has written confirmation of the 0% they'll be ok.
I was one of the 2023 firesale 'beneficiaries' until Tesla rowed back on it. I didn't feel I had a strong enough case at the time to risk the District Court route and associated legal costs. They could have successfully defended it as a pricing error. So I sucked it up, but registered a complaint with the CPCC which was followed up on. I wasn't the only one who registered a complaint about that to the CPCC.
I ordered M3H on 29th Nov and have had vin number for a good few weeks now. Delivery moved out 7/3-22/3 though
Picked up my model y earlier today, very happy so far.
car was spotless and with 13% range which is not an issue as chargers just around the corner.
Does anyone know what the plastic film at the bottom of the rear doors is for and should it be removed?

No, that's PPF protection against stones kicked up by the front wheels. It should stay on.

Book a service request to get it replaced by a ranger callout for free. Last year, a lot of cars in our batch had to have PPF redone because of bubbles, etc.
About to pick MY around 1 PM today. Doesn't seem to be happening though with this snow fall😅. But I'm gad let it snow.

Paid my deposit Dec. 2nd. Model 3 RWD, Stelth grey with 19 inch wheels. When I checked the app last night I was directed to my login page instead of the usual delivery date coming up.
I couldn't get into the login page, probably because of traffic. I was kinda hoping things were happening for me.
Checked the app this morning and I'm back to the usual delivery date again.
Would I know by now if my car was on The Mallarca boat?
I'm getting MY LR. Pretty basic configuration. White, 19" Gemini. I wanted midnight silver metallic but couldn't get one. They tried selling me demo car, I refused flat out. I compromised with color to get 0% finance. Ordered on 15 Feb, delivery today.
Well "basic" depends on your geography. If we were in the US, stealth grey is basic and white would be an upgrade (spoken like a man who is eagerly awaiting his white Model 3 I grant thee 😂). The Gemini wheels give maximum comfort so good choice there too, plus bear in mind there are lots of amazing aero options for your 19" if you decide to go for a different look e.g. https://tesloid.com/product/model-y-blade-wheel-covers/ . Offsets the white colour beautifully IMO. Other design options available too...

If a batch of MY's arrived in Dublin Port yesterday, how long does it take for them to get ready for collection? Will they start next week?
Looking at the older posts when the M3H arrived it was around a 2 weeks from arrival until collections started but that was down to the stat code issue.
Going on holidays on the 26th and have a delivery window of 7th - 22nd. Could really do with no more delays!
Same here with the delivery times, I’d say it will definitely be the week of the 11th for collection time.
Given the Malacca Highway has a carrying capacity of 1,250 vehicles, let's hope they stuffed it to the gills and almost all of us get delivery by the 22nd. Marty Bird referenced another ship en route from Shanghai to Zeebrugge, tho that could be UK RHD M3 & MY plus of course LHD M3 for the rest of Europe. What I'm very curious about is, say 1,000 Teslas arrived yesterday into Dublin Port, how long does it take to get them from there to the Citywest collection facility. Lots of car carriers working through 24 jour cycles (6 on each maybe?). Would love to know, called the Tesla delivery guys and they were suitably vague on this.
Mental capacity. Stuck at the moment between waiting on a MY RWD Grey at €47k and likely missing out on the 0% finance, or ordering one of the inventory white MY LR at €51k. Will stew on it today and tomorrow and make a decision then.
Would they be all Tesla though or would other manufacturer's share the same vessel?
On the Tesla Owners FB group, someone just said Tesla have told them there are 400 Tesla's on the ship, and all have been assigned.

All I have is estimated delivery April/May
Then more than likely it’s on the next ship think it’s due in around end of this month.

Still no peep on my fathers. Estimated was mid Feb to start of March. That disappeared and changed to we'll notify you when it's time to continue with your delivery tasks. Hopefully it was on the ship that arrived yesterday. Had the VIN since Feb 7th when ordered.
This time last year we had someone photographing them off the boat in the port and watchers on the M50 traffic cams to spot the trucks on the way out to NVD :)
