The war is in stalemate what do you suggest . The EU provide the aid now that it's blocked in the US .
Napoleon did not have HIMARS or drones. Or F16s.
i think he meant chechyna 1 and 2 plus georgia all very recent
And they were wars started by Russia. He is making a VICTIM statement here I think?
"These people are people who have not been through arduous experiences. They’ve forgotten about it, but we did through the Caucasian war, for example, and now in the conflict in Ukraine."
In that the west have not been through arduous experiences BUT RUSSIA has? .. as recent as the Caucasian war back in the early 1800s and now Ukraine ( started by Putin ) .. no mention of georgia, afghanistan, chechnya etc
My reading of it is he is pretty much saying they are victims in the war in Ukraine ... that he started
And if every country has that attitude to Russian business interests, well no wonder they can carry on as they are.
More on Putins usual nuke threats at his speech to Russia parliament today
Was there reports earlier on of a SU57 being downed?
One yesterday and two today, I think.
Edit: Maybe 3 today-
Of course. In his view Russia is always the victim. In that sense he's very like Trump, just that in Trump's world Donald Trump is always the victim
Didn't hear anything about a felon being downed. big news if true
Where did France talk about sending troop's to fight Russia? There's no fighting in the western half but there's a lot of Ukrainian men needed here for military logistics and border protection. Western countries coming in here as peace keepers isn't going to start a nuclear war like some believe but it Will help Ukraine especially when these western peace keepers would bring their own air defence which would free up Ukrainian air defence to move east.
You need to have something wrong in the head to take gleeful pleasure in watching videos like that
Training troops on equipment their country has supplied is a lot different to British soldiers operating in Ukraine.
They aren’t actively facing, shooting and killing the Russian army.
But yeah you’re right with the link, they obviously are in Ukraine.
Yes which is happening but at the moment Ukraine are loosing a hell of a lot of their soldiers at the moment. I would say more now then in the last while. If they dont have enough artillery to fire at the moment and it means Russian soldiers are getting closer and closer to Ukrainian positions then would of happened a few months back and they are inflicting more casualties on Ukraine then would of happened a while back. Russia is taking more territory now which Ukraine had captured so they will have to capture this again from Russia causing more Ukrainian casualties. It's a **** situation for Ukraine. If there not given the artillery and anti aircraft missiles then there in for a very bad time. They need them now not in a few weeks or months when God knows where Russia will be in Ukraine by then. Russia have the sail in their wind at the moment and Ukraine need the artillery supplies to knock it out of them. It's a lot easier to stay in a trench if someone is shooting bullets at you but if there lobbing artillery and bombs from planes you can exactly stay put for too long and the problem for Ukraine near adviika that was their main position there and now Russia are attacking the villages around there where Ukraine just don't have as much as a strong position there hence why Russia are getting some villages about there. It's actually the 1st time since the beginning of the war once Ukraine pushed Russia back from Kiev that I am really worried for Ukraine, they need the USA 60 billion package now to stop Russia and push them back.
Excellent if true. Is there any verifiable source for most of the recent claims - as in a recognised commentator having tallied the various Ukrainian reports?
If true, what do people put the sudden jump into downed aircraft, eh, 'down' to?
I remember a program a while ago (top gear maybe) where they found out that the Albanian minister for justice (or someone at that level) car had actually been stolen.
Edit: it was the Greeks who confiscated the car
"Greek police confiscated the car of Albania's public order minister while he was on a visit to discuss cross-border crime after they discovered the vehicle had been stolen"
latest tweet doesn't make any claim regarding SU57's. quite the tally for february though.
Ukraine has no other choice than keep fighting.
I have always suspected this to be the case.
It probably suits the Russians to ignore it's happening.
death parade
The poster isn't asking for a link so that they can watch it, they are asking for a link to suggest that it isn't happening.
How petty can they get FFS
No need to put the workers on the dole, just nationalise the company and pay it's owners a token euro for it.
Though, tbh, I'd have limited sympathy for the workers: they're actively contributing to the Russian war effort and should be ashamed of their part in it. We should be confiscating Doonbeg while we're at it.
It's utterly disgusting the amount of people in both Limerick and Clare that are prepared to work for such evil pricks. A short spell of unemployment might teach them a lesson about being a bit more choosy about whose coin they take.
Yes, 3 SU-34's down, but so far, no SU-57's I think. The 57's are a more modern version of the SU-34, and its possible that Putin is afraid to risk losing them.
So who at the mo is IMPORTING Russian Oil? India? Dont think EU is, is it?
It seems they are moving their anti aircraft missiles closer to the front.
Didn't one of their AA systems get hit the other day? Which would seem to support your suggestion. Definitely a price worth paying... I'd imagine Russia will feel the loss of aircraft much harder than Ukraine will the loss of AA systems - the latter have much less PR value, are magnitudes of $$ cheaper, and much easier to replace.
If every western european military gave just 1% of its defence forces for such roles it would make a great difference. Release 150,000 by my estimate.
Europe is buying too. Just not directly from Russia.
