Actually, it's not as simple as Quin Dub thinks. This is from 2022.
I don't think that says what you think it says.
The point is that Kavanaugh and Barrett didn't say at the Senate hearings that Roe v Wade was set in stone.
dont think the judge will accept this: Trump plans to post $100 million bond, asks for stay of 'punitive' $464M judgment in civil fraud case
"Supreme Court's staggering $450 million judgment not only ignores this Court's controlling decision in this very case, but also violates the Excessive Fines and Due Process Clauses of the U.S. and New York Constitutions," the defense motion said.
"This untenable Judgment therefore threatens the entire New York business community, as it will render profitable, arms-length transactions between sophisticated commercial parties meaningless and subject to arbitrary, post hoc review by the Attorney General and the courts," the motion argued.
I want to buy that €500 phone, but sir, all I've got is €100. Give it to me for that.
I'm super rich so this isn't a lot of money, but also this is a lot of money and it's unfair so In going to make you an offer because I think that's how this works.
Also, that's clearly all he can get access to as he simply isn't anywhere near as rich as he claims.
By "you" I take it you are referring to the US electorate? I can't vote in US elections.
I'm divided whether debates would work in Trumps or Bidens favour. Biden is a better stronger debater imo.
And anyone who says age isnt a factor in this election has obviously not being following the news in the US lately.

When did Quin Dub assert that they had stated it was "set in stone?"
Can you find the post? Strawman argument.
His argument boils down to 'im too rich to pay that much'
Rarely have I seen so perfect an oxymoron chosen as a username 😉 I noted as much a few years ago. Time has done nothing to dim that opinion.
I see Mitch McConnell has announced he's stepping down from leadership in November. Trump's capture of the husk of the GOP is practically complete. There are no real politicians left amongst their Hill brethren who aren't craven Trumpists
I was challenging the claim that Kavanaugh and Barrett had lied about their stance on Roe v Wade at the Senate hearings. The claim had been that they said at the hearings that they wouldn't overturn Roe v Wade and that they went back on that after they were appointed. My point is that the NPR article proves that they never said at the hearings that they wouldn't overturn Roe v Wade. In other words, my point was that Kavanaugh and Barrett never said Roe v Wade was set in stone. People in this forum can read between the lines, can't they?
i think trump will take the martyr approach with this, he may even let the NY DA take his new york assets and sue for damages if he wins the supreme court appeal
Non die hard fans definitely see the frauds and sexual assault. It's been huge news and is pretty hard to avoid. I'd be pretty sure the average woman is gonna be far less likely to vote for a rapist. And the electorate are likely missing plenty of his political statements but they've still likely encountered plenty of his deranged proclamations.
On top of that, most are perfectly aware of how he publicly conducted himself as president which ended with a literal insurrection. I'm pretty sure they're aware he's likely to be worse if given a chance.
Yet Trumps doing reasonably well in head to head polls, its roughly 50-50 on average.
All these scandals are not really affecting him, or only slightly. Not enough to lose.
Like him or hate him, he's not going away anytime soon.
This was the claim @political analyst
From your article:
"It is settled as a precedent of the Supreme Court, entitled the respect under principles of stare decisis," he said. "The Supreme Court has recognized the right to abortion since the 1973 Roe v. Wade case. It has reaffirmed it many times."
and
"Roe is not a super-precedent because calls for its overruling have never ceased. But that doesn't mean that Roe should be overruled. It just means that it doesn't fall in the small handful of cases like Marbury v. Madison and Brown v. Board that no one questions anymore," she added.
Your strawman argument "My point is that the NPR article proves that they never said at the hearings that they wouldn't overturn Roe v Wade. "
Wasn't the claim.
Someone sent judge Engoron white powder in the mail
Meanwhile the AG warns the court Trump is unable - or unwilling, to pay the judgement.
AG's office has previously indicated they are prepared to put a lien on his assets which would be able to cover the damages.
He said it was a settled precedent but didn't say what he allegedly said to Susan Collins before the hearing - that it was settled law. He said it can be appropriate for the court to revisit prior decisions.
As for what Barrett said, saying that something doesn't mean that Roe v Wade shouldn't be overruled isn't the same as saying there were never going to be grounds at all for overruling Roe v Wade.
Appeal to where? The supreme court doesn't take appeals in these types of cases
Apparently NATO countries who can't pay their way can get fucked, so.. Donny? Guess what
Yeah, there is no constitutional question here.
And (AFAIK, IANAL) he can't get that far until he first goes to the 2nd Circuit US Court of Appeals, which he cannot go to until he goes to the NY State Supreme Court, who won't hear his appeals until the NY State Court of Appeals does, which won't hear his case until he ponies up the money in escrow.
And every day he drags his feet, well to use Trump's own words against him, the wall (of debt) just gets 10 feet higher.
And another day a Trump supporter doesn't understand the legal system either
Are you shocked? I'm aghast.
Damages for being found guilty of fraud?
I've pointed it out previously but polling a month out from Romney versus Obama showed Romney winning. So I'm not really viewing polls over 6 months out from the election as a prediction of the result. So I can't see the above not impacting the public's view of Trump.
Also, all of the above are most definitely gonna be a major component of the election including the attack ads.
