**** hell this is insane stuff
I've never been as wealthy and still feel like I don't have enough crypto.
sell
We’re only getting started
Nah, I've never been great at timing highs and lows so I DCA (more aggressive when there's big pull backs) and I'm holding until we get further into the cycle.
yea, I wasn't expecting it to kick off until around now and instead we're 9.5k euro away from BTC ath.
id like to get out of it all this year.
the last peak was easy enough to spot but things are different now.
alot of interesting stuff in the court case this week

The reasonable predictions are between 100 to 150k, the tricky part will be extracting maximum value.
Still moving. Almost hit 53k last night. We prob will get a pull back soon as it is moving too fast . But it will consolidate and push on again.
The pump was due (in part) to shorts getting squeezed and needing to buy more to cover their positions which in turn squeezed more shorts who in turn needed to cover their positions. Will be interesting to see if it falls back again or whether it will find a new support level. Either way I'm not complaining 😁
support level?
Current support seems around 52, that’s where the price consolidated before moving up again now to 56, if it falls back from here then unlikely to go below 52, possible but there is a chance it won’t. If we hover around here at 56 then consolidate for a while same applies if we jump to 60 or 65, may not fall back below 56.
Thats oversimplified, but an important concept for exiting. God candles are great, but have no support so if we were to jump to 90k in one day there is a great likelihood it would come back down as quick, to around support level, last place it consolidated.
Thats my vague understanding, others may add or correct me, we are quite a bit away from ATH imo, but a very important concept now that those of us have been buying on the way down are thinking about when to exit.
How will the yankeys react to this when they wake up, I wonder...
There will be no more standing in the aisle until the captain has turned the 'fasten seat belt' sign off.
These ETFs have really changed everything this cycle it seems, they're already heading towards 250,000 BTC held apparently, and the asset managers have barely even started marketing and advertising them. I would say they're waiting until after the halving as most people with any knowledge on the history of BTC anticipates at least some pullback before/during/after the halving, and then full steam ahead after that. $57k, only 13% off the ATH while still a couple of months away from the halving.
I'd like to do some calls on BTC miners if there is a pullback, but never did them before. Anyone have experience or recommendations? Are call options even the best choice for this type of thing, basically just want to trade on what seems to be a sure thing that they'll all return to their previous ATH.
You really need to look into it thoroughly before you dabble in it. Those that do it have hedged positions and limits set so they don’t get wiped.
Whats the incentive to keep mining after the next halving? Lets say a bunch of whales decided to sell up before the halving and the price dipped to a lower level. Wouldn't the integrity of the blockchain be a bit shaky if miners have no incentive to mine? Could there be a situation where holders may want to sell but can't?
Edit: Ok after doing a bit more research, it looks like the transaction costs will go up after a halving and thus maintain incentive for miners.
Supply and demand as well - if some pack it in it just means more money for everyone else but there is a LOT of miners, not just the big companies you always hear about
How do you short bitcoin, is it via the ETF's holding it?
Most exchanges allow you to do that
Ftx
Most people seem to be certain a new ATH is coming. I don't own any bit coin, but I hope it hits it for everyone else. I'm not overly convinced these gains will be as gigantic as the twitter crowd seem to think. Big money to be made in the alts but of course picking the right one is the question.
As fritzelly said, many exchanges allow you to do it. Google it and there will be a host of links with the information. I don't do it personally, I like risk but not that much and its open to manipulation.
I didn't think we'd be this close at this time. I expected it about 12-18 months from now. Maybe if happens early we get a super cycle.
tethered printed a ton around xmas
Has there been any update on the SEC/CoinBase case?
Boy am I glad i sold off all my BTC 8 months ago to fund the purchase of Link. Close call, that.
😂 Not sure if serious or if a jibe at @dirk_dangler. Bitcoin may be up 10% the last 24 hours but Link has outperformed BTC by 200% last 8 months!
I'm holdign a lot of btc and a little link but the hat must be tipped to the man.
Is Yellow Mountain a BTC maxi?
Going parabolic now. I have stopped trying to guess when it will cool down for a break and just enjoy it while it lasts
59k BTC and 2.3 T market cap, could easily see 60k today
