She says she'll pardon Trump which is a necessity to keep the MAGAs onside should she actually move forward to the Election.
Whether she'd do it if given the opportunity we'll probably never know.
She’s indicated too many times that she would. That’s enough to disqualify her. Nobody should be playing with that or calling her a **** moderate.
She would stand a zero per cent chance of getting elected if she said otherwise. Trump owns the party/Republican voters….
Maybe Trumps attitude is, if you can't beat them (anymore), join them?
Ever get the feeling like we are overestimating this guy's appeal?
Segment needs to be seen to be believed. Kimmel sent a crew to South Carolina to ask people on the street what they thought about Biden's comments and policies - such as when he said surviving COVID-19 was his "personal Vietnam" and suggested shining light inside the body to cure the disease.
Except as you can surmise, those were actually Trump statements. Miraculously the respondents changed their reactions when they learned who said it.
Proof of cult
Bloody hell. Trump on Friday:
This is like something a 5 year old would say.
"The mug shot, we’ve all seen the mug shot, and you know who embraced it more than anybody else? The Black population,” he continued."
He's that idiot racist who thinks he's not racist cos he reaches out to black Americans ... by telling them how they're all felons, like him!
Well CPAC was… insane
Twas always thus: did it have as anything as crazy as symposia about how women should choose a career, motherhood but not both? Or feature Candice Owens, who has said giving women the vote was a mistake?
Oh but don't say America could slide into a fundamentalist theocracy. No no 🤭
Yeah, they are idiots, but that sort of thing is a bad idea. Chucking random people up there to be scrutinised is awful. Kimmel should know better.
It is the republicans and similar arsehóles from other countries so what do you expect.
One thing however is that there wouldn't be a chance of a lone gunman type spree at it for two reasons.
First would be the security at it and the fact firearms aren't allowed (ironic I know) and second the mental cases who go on them are the ones clapping and cheering
Yep, strange how you get some people who always try and down play/both sides anything like cpac or even local issues while being so obvious who they actually agree with.
It's like a FB post a mare showed me from such a particular type of person after the vote on the 8th amendment here, where they claimed that their wife voted yes because she didn't understand what they were voting for because the information put out by the government was so vague.
Now either the post was bullshít (most likely as there was plenty of it from the no side) or if it was anyway real I doubt the marriage lasted as who would stay with someone who voted differently to them because they are moron in their opinion.
Trump forgets the name of his third wife at CPAC
Clearly in mental decline should resign for the good of the party lol
More South Carolina republicans than not, no longer attach themselves to the “MAGA” movement
Like I said earlier, these loons are all he has left, and that's why he will lean as far into their beliefs as possible, while trying not to lose the rest of his base. An impossible task .
This can't be true. Posters on here say he looks strong and sharp!??!?
This numbers are actually kinda striking. Very bad numbers for Trump. Compare to Biden who won 95% of his South Carolina primary. And a lot of Haley’s supporters are never Trumpers. Biden practically has this state in the bag come November.
Purely for informative reasons....
Could I be really conspiratorial and speculate Haley is how the GOP decouple themselves from Trump? Without outright saying it and bringing MAGA to their door? That she's in the race to ensure the point is subtly but continuously driven home that MAGA is some lunatic cult and Trump will increasingly me himself unpalatable to GOP and national voters alike from the frustration of a nominally "normal" candidate? The stats are showing that Trump just isn't appealing himself to non MAGA voters yet here he is, clearly a busted flush and Haley hanging around reminding everyone how crazy he looks in comparison.
Haley's race is clearly run so why persist at all? There's a point where I find myself wondering if there's something more, and more machiavellian, going on here.
exactly haley is being funded by democrats to slow trump
the fact she lost in her own state says it all
No, I didn't say that and what you're saying truly is conspiratorial.
hardly conspiracy
A POLITICO analysis of FEC filings by Haley's campaign found that, in January alone, approximately 1,600 donors to President Joe Biden's campaign in 2020 also donated to Haley's campaign.
Top Democratic donor gives $250k to support Nikki Haley, citing need to defeat Trump in primary
@Overheal
Biden practically has this state in the bag come November.
... really?? Trump won that state pretty handily in 2020 and increased his share of the vote this year by 30 percent from the 2016 primary in a similar turnout (around 700,000). And that was against the state's governor.
It's a bold prediction and I would like it to be correct, but I think the numbers need more drilling into to make the case.
Billionaires tend to donate to both parties simply because they're aiming to get their ideal candidates on both sides. It's hedging your bets and it isn't unique to this election.
Citation for that funding?
This isn't especially shocking given repeated polls have shown Haley's supporters would pivot to Biden in the national election; seems there's gonna be crossover of funding; but it doesn't speak to some conspiracy by the DNC - and even if it were, it's clearly not working either?
Mine was just a spitball as to why the GOP, who would have the ear of Haley not the DNC, wouldn't have long ago told her to step aside for Trump. She clearly doesn't have a snowball's chance and "tis the Democrats!" is less credible than a sly attempt to box off the MAGA cult by the GOP without outright confronting them.
It's that figure of 59% of Haley supporters saying they won't vote for Trump in November that's the killer.
That amounts to about 25% of GOP voters, even if only half of them stick with that position that's a death knell for Trump.
The GOP are a 3rd party within the Republican party.
