This would have given him plenty of photo ops with politicians of all shades as he'd be representing business interests of Tralee and the north Kerry area.

CAB don't close places just because a crime was committed. They will close it if is due to the proceeds of crime. I can't see that happening myself.
Lots of people in Kerry and tralee impacted by drug gangs / drug debts etc … doubt if many of those people will be going supporting this garden centre into the future .
must be huge money laundering repercussions as well out of the people this man has brought around Kerry .
I seem to remember some kerfuffle a few years back in Ballyseedy garden centre over animals (pot belly pigs?) they had which weren't very well cared and eventually got taken off them or surrendered to a rescue or something.
It was somehow tied into the whole Animal Haven fiasco and the nutter from Cork who ran that until forced out.
I honestly can't remember the details anymore, but I don't remember the Ballyseedy woman coming out of it looking very well.
I remember all that too and the amount of people that were never going to darken the door again! Quickly forgotten and place was busier than ever!
His photo-ops are still available to purchase on the Kerry's Eye website for anyone wanting to reminisce. I don't know if they're all going to get dumped.

They have 3 branches of Ballyseedy & one burger place. That's it. It was open the day after the raid and has been open since.
There was no real issue. They had pigs, one got ill and put down by their onsite vet.
But the usual animal nutters made all sorts of claims. These are the nutters that will scream at you for eating meat or having a dog as a pet and hate all zoos.

Would they not just change the name to Tralee garden centre or something to save the business as it's quite liked locally and seem viable because the ballyseedy name is now tainted with meth forever.

Don't think she was arrested, but she would have been interviewed. They interviewed staff and family also.

His father was never a Sinn Fein Councillor, he was a member of the party in 92 and elected in 99 as an independent. I've no great grá for Sinn Fein but this is thrown around about a lot, particularly when FG were looking for a youthful candidate, ideally with a high profile and a business owner, to replace Brendan Griffin.
Anyone who's been to Fresno will know what crystal meth does to a place. These fellas along with anyone else caught up in it should get the full force of the law thrown at them...and then extradited to Mexico for good measure.
Apparently both leen and McDonnell were both in Barcelona and Dubai at the same times but may have travelled to both destinations not in each others company but separately,but obviously negotiations were taking place there with them together at these meetings...I'm sure leen would have been watched internationally through the likes of Interpol on his movements as would any accomplices he associated with here or abroad.
Would I be correct in saying these lads would have been from different classes and if you saw them together you'd be wondering.
