Nope .. China :D
Because sanctions are a two way street..blocking certain good / services nto Russia, means hitting the producers of these goods and services. So you hit Russia with the most damaging sanctions first, then gradually ramp them up, and thats what's been happening. For the "the sanctions don't work" brigade, it should be noted that top of the list of all Putin's "demands for talks" is removal of all sanctions before such talks can even take place. Just look at the Russian aircraft industry at the moment and see what effect the sanctions are having. Would you like to take a flight from Vnukovo to Mineralnya Vody? Nyet, Spassibo!!!😎
france greece and cyprus voted last saturday to veto the purchace of any munitions from outside the eu
Interesting...
I read that, it's such a shame. You would swear that France, Cyprus & Greece were world leaders in shell production and their factories were lined up to fulfill a contract of equal size etc...
It's been a week since Russia took Avdiivka, so far their massive breakthrough after that has been quite absent.
Missile hit on the A-50
Two more??
Makes not one bit of difference, Putin will attack anyway, even without provocation. The sooner that Ukraine gets the means to hit back even harder, the better because that's the only thing that Putin understands. Sheer brute force. Only pity is that Ukraine does not deliberately target civilians. If Putin was facing another foe, without the same compunctions', this war would have been finished a long time ago.
East Timor was a peacekeeping operation with NZ under the UN I believe.
Would have thought both Australia and UK would have been involved in more occupations. Both were in Iraq and Afghanistan. Australia were in Vietnam and UK were in Oman. Suppose it depends on the the sites definition of an occupation.
Why??
I think that's at least 8 fighters and 1x AWACS down in less than a week.
Flying rats
Rumours of an Il-22M shot down. Or maybe Twitter is confusing it with the A-50.
Ahuyet
Update, seems to be true.
I'm having a serious sense of dejavu....
And I like it!

I love the blade runner aesthetic here all thats missing is vangelis instead of the russian melo drama panic
Because they will only support it if their military industrial complex gets contracts. Follow the money.
For France they want their internal military producers to get money. For Greece, I am not sure. For Cyprus, it's unclear as well but I would say that the country would historically be awash with Russian money for investment entities etc.
And who would have thought pre 2019 we would go through a world wide pandemic swiftly followed by war back in Europe. I always wonder did one precipitate the other? The lockdowns, the isolation, time to ruminate and so on.
Today is two year aniversary of putins 3 day special operation.
I'm inclined to say the pandemic may possibly have delayed the invasion tbh.
Yeah. Possibly. However i remember stories of putin on his own completely isolated in the kremlin, spending alot of time in the archives. No one around him to talk him down or give alternative views etc.
Putin paranoia. Aweful for the family
This is nice if true
Lol
Think these lads still stuck in the lift?
