That place is just going to become another Kaliningrad eventually.
It's quite close to Odessa so that could be a bit of a headache for Ukraine. However it's difficult for the Russians to get any additional troops or equipment there since they'd have to fly over Ukrainian or NATO member territory to get there.
Anything to show that it's not right? I'm all for differing opinions but opinions should be backed up with something from somewhere, even if it is just scutter that has informed that opinion. Plenty of videos of Russians dead too. Didn't HIMARs wipe out groups of trainees yesterday near the frontline?
Interesting view from JFKs nephew, I'd say the share price of these companies is flying it!

Transnistria is going nowhere. It's internationally unrecognised and unless Russia can conquer Ukraine of Moldova it's going to remain an enclave.
Cool, just as long as you leave.
Ukraine should invade Transnistria and Kaliningrad. Occupy same and say OK Putin lets do a swap .. Fck off out of Crimea and the Donbas and you can have Transnistria and Kaliningrad back :D
Whats good for the goose as they say ...
Himars saved the day by destroying prodigious amounts of Russian ammunition dumps. Cluster bombs held the Russians back and now more 155mm shells can have a big effect. It all depends on how fast the west can act.
I wonder how many more missiles they have left for them?
I assume they are coming off the production line constantly.
Speaking of Himars-
Not so surprising really. They know full well what a Putin victory would mean for them, having previous experience with him! Better to die on their feet with a gun in their hands, than lying down with Putins boot on their neck's.
It's almost like maybe, just maybe, instead of inventing bogeymen in NATO playing Empire Games to make one's self seem counter-cultural and a "free thinker" one should just listen to Ukrainians and what they wanna do. They wanna fight til the Russians are gone? Ok then, sounds pretty existential.
But then actually investing ones ideological energy into giving Ukraine a degree of autonomy and investment in this fight robs the Big Brain keyboard warriors from their little anti West, "America are the real bad guys" screeds and pub bore narratives.
Good analogy of the current situation.
Russian soldiers were given rations for just three days after the invasion started, giving them the impression this "blitzkrieg" would be done and dusted by then. (this is according to captured russians in the early days of the war). After that, the phrase "3 day war" started a life of its own.
Still being produced, but we don't know how they have been paid for. As US funding has been depleted, Ukraine cannot get any HIMARS missile from US stocks. However if the US had a contract with Lockheed Martin for X amount of missiles for Ukraine over X amount of time etc.. they will still be supplied as they have been paid for.
It's the same situation with AA missiles, some are still being delivered by the US as they have already been paid for before funding ran out.

RFK, JR isn't a reliable source. In fact, he's looney.
The fact that he has a famous last name means nothing. His family wants nothing to do with him. He's a CT anti-vax loon, sadly, he's running for POTUS.
So 3 days rations per soldier means that was the official Russian invasion plan, and has nothing at all to do with logistical supply chains?
Pull the other one.
Question for you, do you think they've substantially overrun their projected time to invade Ukraine? Most would say yes. Also can you clarify if you support their invasion?
I gave you an explanation as to how the 3 day war meme started
Do with this info what you want, I don't give two **** either way
Well you attempted to source the absurd "Russia expected to take Ukraine in 3 days" meme and fell short.
The only thing i can find, is that the US said it.
At the onset of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, US intelligence assessed that Russia could conquer Kyiv in just three days.
In fact, CIA Director Bill Burns told lawmakers weeks after the start of the invasion that Putin's strategy was centered on "seizing Kyiv within the first two days of the campaign."

So it's US people making up claims, that Russia has never said. Strawman after Strawman

It's an editorial, talking about returning Ukraine to Russia, celebrating the start of the invasion. Mentions the fight is ongoing, uses a lot of present and future tenses.
Russia is restoring its unity - the tragedy of 1991.
because now brothers separated by belonging to the Russian and Ukrainian armies are still shooting at each other - but Ukraine will no longer exist as anti-Russia.
That's not evidence that Russia expected to capture Ukraine in 3 days.
