The Former Guy.
Depends on who you talk to.
For most it is The Former Guy, but given my aunt used to refer to trump as the fat git, it does spring to mind every time someone types it.
I knew it was that but I prefer to read stories here with TFG and substitute it with "The **** Gimp"
I like your aunt 😉👍
Isn't it funny that still a few days after Navalny's death, a victim of actual political persecution, and trump is completely silent on the subject?
Such a Co-inky-dink
The funny thing is, if Trump were actually as rich as he claims to be then he would be able to write a cheque for 500m and use it as "See, America, I pay my debts."
At first I read your post as
"Isn't it funny that still a few days after Navalny's death Trump ,a victim of actual political persecution is completely silent on the subject."
:-)
RIP Navalny.
Hard to fathom the depths of your courage and decency.
He might also pay for his own legal bills rather than put his hand in the Republican election kitty.
Might also have just not committed the crimes and assorted offenses in the first place.
Now you're just being silly, Pay his own bills and not commit crimes..sheesh
I remember a time when Trump supporters used to claim that if it wasn't proven in a court of law it didn't count.
Now it's that the court of law is corrupt and so that is all fake.
So, what would be sufficient for them to accept anything bad about Trump?
Scientologists Elena and Grant Cardone established a GoFundMe page to help pay Donald Trump's latest legal bill.
The ardent MAGA supporters set up the page hours after the former president was ordered to pay $355 million fine for lying about his wealth for years.
'I stand unwaveringly with President Donald Trump in the face of what I see as unprecedented and unfair treatment by certain judicial elements in New York' Elena Cardone wrote on the page.
Cardone is seeking donations from supporters to cover the full cost of Trump's fine.
However, only $53,000 had been donated as of Saturday afternoon.
Even the Daily Mail commenters are taking the piss out of this lol.
The scientologists will run off with whatever is donated, it's grifters all the way down.
I wonder what the over/under is before GoFundMe takes it down...
A "billionaire" asking poor people to send him $10.
Anybody who can't see how ridiculous that is deserves everything they get.
Interestingly, on Wednesday gone by in North Charleston, South Carolina, Trump said he'd do more to help Ukraine than Biden has and said that Biden, in a second term, would cede Ukraine to Russia!
(New York Times website, 14 February).
The copy-and-paste function isn't working with the address of the NY Times website.
He'd try and use US clout to force Ukraine into accepting some sort of compromise that gives Russia a chunk of Ukrainian territory and keeps Ukraine in the Russian sphere of influence until such time as they want to annex some more. Trump has said before that he would have "made a deal".
What the hell is interesting about that?
It's just a figure of speech.
If that interests you then so should this:
Given what he did with the whole situation as POTUS, are you to believe he wouldn't hand Ukraine to Russia, and withdraw the US from NATO?
So there is nothing interesting about it, because it’s more Trump lies.
Look at him! This is what he has been reduced to, getting booed at a sneaker convention after he announces $400 cheap sneakers that look like something from Aldi.
Distinct "My pillow" guy vibes!
...
Yea, I think Lindell was also reduced to selling «Slippers» from his pillow company. I’m guessing it’s cheap to source finished footware from the likes of China, then hope that the resale price is enough to recover the losses from elsewhere.
It didn’t really work out for Mike, and Donnie doesn’t have a great track record with launching products in general. Getting a «Trump Steaks» vibe from this one myself.
Who'd have thought the man obsessed with gold and gaudy demonstrations of wealth and power would want, in his political "career", to be a functional king or absolute monarchial figurehead. And the truly thing is many will applaud it.
I wouldn't be surprised if one of his heroes was Midas.
I doubt Trump's limited working intelligence extends to classical mythology(?), more like he'd admire those European Monarchs who got to string people up cos it was a Tuesday and they were bored; or the latter day "strongman" leaders who live in palaces and run sham democracies.
And we know this is his intent given this was Trump's constant refrain of "Article 2! I have ultimate power" when he was President, and his lawyers' arguments over immunity during his legal cases. The man wants to be a king - and parts of the GOP will facilitate this through Project 2025 if they can.
It's a good job he's such a moron, with no patience or sense of chicanery
What makes it worse eis that he tried hawking them at Sneaker Con (apt use of the latter abbreviation) and got booed
I'm starting to think he won't make it to Nov folks.
We have just over 8 months to go.
He has a shed load more legal woes between now and then, and seems to be getting much worse on stage.
I think those two ruling completely rocked him.
It's like his infallibility aura is gone.
When was the last time he was properly rattled on stage.
I think people and donors will start to pull away.
Nikki might have to stay on a little longer, but she just might eek it.
Yeah but we still haven't had any criminal convictions. Also trump won't drop out as that'd mean accepting reality, something donnie hasn't done, ever
