the reality is america is changing all the time
23 maps that explain how Democrats went from the party of slavery and racism to the party of Obama
Trump responds after the ruling saying he is a fraud .. finally :D
A lot of hand movement
So Trump say the judge in this case is leading America into WW3.
That's not what I meant. It's just that talking down to a substantial section of the electorate is not a smart move.
So it comes to about $450m. And it increases everyday it’s not paid.
looks like this story has a long way still to run
New York congresswoman Stefanik files professional conduct complaint against state Attorney General Letitia James for ‘biased’ Trump investigation
GOP voters were never going to vote for her anyway, regardless of how correct she was.
It is similar to here, how someone who has always voted for fg or ff all their life would not vote for another party or simply not vote because they don't like the current party leader.
While it may be reducing in younger people, it is still seen as the only option by some older people.
I guess that Ireland has more in common with the US than one may think. Trump's level of support, although on a different scale, is similar to the constant returning of Michael Lowry to the Dáil.
Lolol
Time to re-up this..
Stefanik is a true believer. She's completely delusional.
I get that his face looks like he was left out on the clothesline to dry for too long but washed up? lol
LP continues to troll Trump
This verdict on the same day Putin kills his opposition is abit ironic. The US has a different way of going about achieving the same outcome. If Trump miraculously doesn't go bankrupt and gets into power, he will seek retribution and they will be a world of pain. It's not a good idea for democrats to manipulate the courts like this to get their desired outcome. People like Xi and Putin will look at this, and feel vindicated.
Is this a pisstake?
Other than it being your guy who is repeatedly being found guilty of doing the things he's accused of, what is there to show that it is some kind of organised plot by the opposition political party that is causing him to have done the things he's been found guilty of?
Did the Democrats set it up such that he raped someone, or make him run his businesses fraudulently?
Serious question.
Do you think Trump is innocent of all charges? Not on a technicality either, innocent as he didn't do what he was accused of.
Follow up question, do you think it's possible for Trump to break the law? Any law, whether something as lowly as speeding or something as high as rape? If it is possible that he could break the law, who should try him?
Jesus, where to begin with this.
*Takes deep breath*
"This verdict on the same day Putin kills his opposition is abit ironic. The US has a different way of going about achieving the same outcome."
It's not the same outcome though, is it? In Russia, the opponent is summarily jailed and then assassinated. In the US, there is a trial by peers which is open and in view of all, the accused has his full resources and the right to appeal.
"If Trump miraculously doesn't go bankrupt and gets into power, he will seek retribution and they will be a world of pain."
You mean he'll act like Putin? This is not the argument you think it is. And btw, you haven't condemned that kind of political retribution. It's almost as if you're purposely missing that point.
"It's not a good idea for democrats to manipulate the courts like this to get their desired outcome."
The democrats haven't manipulated the courts. Stacking 3 SCOTUS judges in the hopes that they will "owe" you is manipulating the courts.
"People like Xi and Putin will look at this, and feel vindicated."
If Putin were to be influenced by US developments, I'd imagine trump telling him he can do what he likes might have had an impact alright.
From Neal Katyal....
First, before Trump was President, he hid his payments (the hush money) to avoid a criminal indictment then.
Second, he then became President, and said he couldn’t be indicted for his past crimes like the hush money while in office.
Third, he then committed more serious crimes in office (the Mueller report lists 10), and he said he couldn’t be prosecuted for his crimes as a sitting President while in office.
Fourth, he then got voted out of office, and so committed even more crimes to try to stay in office (the Jan. 6 charges, some of the most significant charges in the book), and said he couldn’t be prosecuted for them while he was still President.
Fifth, b/c he couldn't be prosecuted, Congress impeached him and he said he couldn’t be impeached because the only remedy was to prosecute him after he leaves office, not to impeach him.
Sixth, he then leaves office and he’s prosecuted (as per exactly what his lawyers said could happen to him), and he now says he can’t be prosecuted because he is absolutely immune from prosecution for acts while he was President.
Seventh, for crimes he committed when he was NOT President (like the New York ones), he is now saying he can’t be prosecuted for those either, b/c he’s he’s a candidate for President again (as his lawyer argued in court today).
And oh, eighth, he filed a brief in the US Supreme Court today saying because he was not impeached, he can't be convicted.
Lowry ain’t no saint, but he’s in the ha’penny place compared to Trump
Having had the misfortune of having to live there for two years.
Except Lowry 'fixt de rudes', trump breaks everything he comes in contact with
Just you wait until DJT gets back into power and delivers infrastructure week!!!!!

Agreed. These Americans had valid grievances as @thomil wrote about above that haven't improved. Saying things like "We gave you Obamacare!" which, actually, is just Medicaid access for most of that group, and Medicaid is health care at the bottom of the barrel in the US; better than absolutely no insurance, but not much, with many many restrictions on what's available.
Jobs really did disappear. Towns died. Seeming to sneer at a large percentage of the populace was stupid. Never really retracting the statement didn't work, and Hilary had a lot of baggage. Biden would've been a better choice in that election, he didn't stink of Clinton.
And yeah, voting for TFG changed nothing for that group nor will it.
It is pretty funny to watch his supporters coming out of the wood work. A few years ago you'd have had close to a dozen people leaping to his defence. Now it's a lackluster defence that isn't really sure what the argument even is.
You're talking about his lawyers, right?
I really don't have much hope for the likes of you anymore. Climb out of your conspiracy theory lined hole in the ground and see the sunlight. There's a whole world out there to explore that doesn't involve every single thing being a conspiracy against Donald f**king Trump.
Donald Trump
Chat sh!t
Get banged
If Trump can weasel out of paying these judgements with endless legal appeals and general stymieing tactics, it sort of doesn't matter how much it increases by, and he's most probably going to order a massive increase in the production/sale of general MAGA tat in order to cover himself for whatever amounts can be extracted.
