I'm going to buck the trend (and risk a lynching) but I'm not a big sea person.
I think in the summer it is beautiful and peaceful but the winter sea can be grey and depressing in my opinion.
I also don't like when the tide is out and certain areas look like a swamp.
I'm more of a mountain view, rolling hills and babbling streams kind of gal π
I think I've the arse worn out of my plate with all the sliding buuuut cheesecake please

In from out , miserable dreary day here . Just had two hickory flavored rashers and fried egg on a slice of brown soda bread, with a mug of coffee. It was delicious!
It may be wet and cold out but Toby still dragged me to the Ice Cream cafe for a doggy ice cream treat

Being from Monaghan I donβt hear much of the sea , though I do love the sea the few times Iβve been on it fishing off Donegal . Something primal about tucking into a fresh cod you caught yourself
Back home, so sitting on balcony with the OH and blue. Weather is glorious.
Well Mrs G and I enjoyed the drinkies and food. Lamb shank with tender stem broccoli, carrots and roasties. Fab

Bedside not feeling great
Another sea lover here . It's restorative I think. Just sitting quietly, watching the waves crashing on the sand , good for the soul .
I love the sea myself too, the sounds, the smell, the view. ππππ
Iβve read that our deep primal affinity with the sea/ocean is a relic of our evolution as a species which originally emerged from the oceans 300 million years ago.
I have an instinctual feeling that this is true.

Just finishing leftover pizza from last night with a glass of Prosecco because Iβm classy π thank god that week is over. Got the job application in but hoping if itβs really bad it drops out at prescreening as I know someone who will be on the interview board, the job is in a company we do business with so may never be able to hold my head high again π
I went to grocery shopping on way home and bought a **** tonne of chocolate, which Iβll polish off Iβm sure. I should have heeded the advice never to go shopping when youβre hungry. Enjoy the pints Grandee and Grem!
