What's this leading to exactly, what is the point? Ukraine deserve what they get cos they were corrupt? Don't think anyone here has ever suggested otherwise but if you think it's corrupt now, wait til the Quislings take over if Russia wins the war.
Oh the headlines changed tack, well yeah. Cos again, a country was invaded by Russia and orchestrated a pretty resilient fight back. While your glib screenshot missed the reporting of the various reforms and anti corruption actions taken by Kyiv since the war. You can find them on the guardian n all.
In that documentary movie done with Navalny in 2022 he left an "In case of my death" message .. here it is:
Part of - "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing .. so dont be inactive"
Watch this space perhaps - internal Russia?? We will see if its people will be active ..
Did you miss the NATO Russia Founding Act (1997) and the Budapest Agreement (1994)?
They didn't have such an agreement. Find us the text of this signed agreement. Go on. It is your claim, so support it or admit you are just repeating Russian lies.
The NATO-Russia Founding Act lays out the framework under which NATO could expand to encompass eastward countries. NATO adhered to that treaty.
Ukraine also had a treaty with Russia, the Budapest Agreement, recognising Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. No mention of Ukraine not joining NATO. Crimea clearly recognised as Ukrainian territory. Do you want to count all the times Russian broke that agreement? Well?
The responsibility for this is on Russia entirely.
The internet has made people stupid
You know that one of the big reasons for the invasion by russia was Ukraine cutting down on corruption and thus reducing russias corrupt influence on them? Right?
Putin does not have all the time in the world. In fact, he has very little time left. He is banking on something miraculous to happen to dig him out of the hole, like Trump getting elected and, for some reason, rolling back all the sanctions and restrictions on Russia.
Because otherwise, 2024 is the year when Putin's money are going to run out. Russia spend the last 20 years squirrelling money onto the FNB (Fund of National Wealth), and after two years, this fund has no liquidity left, the FNB has investments into the infrastructure, but these cannot be used to buy war material, or to pay soldiers. Unless Russia gets its frozen foreign currency reserves back, by 2025 Putin's ability to wage war will be severely limited. If at that stage Ukraine gets enough support, it will be able to drive Russian out of Ukraine.
Thing is that's a misrepresentation that Russia used to justify the invasion. Plenty of info available in relation to this btw. Basically the narrative you're buying into is that Ukraine should have no self determination including in terms of defence. Also every single poster who pushes this narrative appears to be available fine with genocide.
Incorrect, Russia is/was the most corrupt country in Europe and the one with the must neo-Nazis.
So much Russia propaganda posted on this site. Not sure if they are bots or the brainwashed but a big thank you is due to all to all those posters debunking the lies and misdirection.
Also posters such as @thinkabouit seem to ignore the fact the West spent years not antagonizing Russia. This is in spite of the fact, they've engaged in online attacks against multiple nations in the West including hacking efforts and election interference. On top of that there's been the political assassinations with chemical and radioactive weapons in the UK. That's going back twenty years at this stage. But Ukraine joining the EU or NATO is the real antagonism.(both were likely decades away pre invasion)
Yeah. Look at all those billions the EU spent, and still spend antagonizing Russia
I can't believe that she would be so stupid as to believe and propagate russian propaganda for free.
Indeed but those elections often get such low turnout there's a good chance they'll get re-elected, whether it's cos they're "anti mainstream" or just for those who openly applaud her outlook.
I didn’t know of any of his political positions apart from standing up to putrid. A quick google just now . He supported the Russia invasion of Georgia in 2008 and had dubious links with far right nationalists in Russia. He dressed as a dentist and compared immigrants to cavities that needed to be extracted/deported. Slim pickings when it comes to decent politicians in Russia unfortunately.
Yes, normally, but remember with Russia, the normal laws of nature do not apply, do they?
So .. we await what Biden means by this ( Video )
@TokTik threadbanned
We may find out soon .. President Biden will address Navalny’s death at 12 pm ( 5pm Irish time I think )
Pres Biden on Navalny will be on here shortly
Some of ye wanted to hear from Tucker re Navalny .. here you go
"Leadership requires killing people.”
But not people by the name of Carlson? Or people with Tucker as first name? Gotcha.
None of us know who or what will come after Putin. History is unpredictable. Could be an improvement, could be even worse. All we can hope is that he'll be gone sooner rather than later, but I wouldn't hold my breath
Your flame shone bright but oh so brief.
Exactly. Nawalny was no saint but he actively tackled and called out the mafia state corruption of Putin and his regime and basically died for his resistance. If that's not political heroism I don't know what is. Certainly not a bunch of keyboard warriors on boards whose only contribution is nitpicking and saying, well, he was a bit chauvinistic and he was Russian after all, so why the big deal.
Glad to hear Biden and numerous other leaders giving a worthy tribute.
😄 hahah
Let's hope some wise leader some day does the world a favour and applies this lesson to Tucker. What a piece of work
Sorry,that was meant for thinkabouit
