I chopped a bale of haylage under weanlings this week. It covered what 3 bales of straw would do. I don't knkw how it will fare out. Thinking of going every second time with haylage and straw. I put in a couple of acres of westerworlds in field a few miles away just to keep cover on it before reseeding in the spring, but now im just wondering if we chanced cutting headed out westerworlds for bedding...would it work?
I Used hay that got rained on under the cows here. A neighbour had it and I baled it up during that hot week in August. It worked fine, I just hunted out the animals before I started the blower as it was very dusty.
It really is tome you were banned from this forum christ I'm no angel but your intolerable it's plain as day your a troll with either a current or past account here also
I know what land country wide makee to rent you obviously are getting a gd deal from people and best of luck. You must have a serious amount of time on ur hands to satisfy ur ego to upload a private lease to send to a stranger.Your on here trying to convince everyone that renting cheap land is way to go buy guess what its only you who can get cheap land.Just like your magic cows who give huge yields at way less meal than similar farms running your system you still havent answered my quuestion if u loose all ur rented land what will u do
You should take no notice it beggars belief when you hear people taking out loans sure every farmer is a millionaire👌🏻
Cant understand why everyone didn’t buy land when it was for nothing after the greatest global recession we’ve ever seen 15 years ago sure every farmer was still flush with cash then the only sector to escape the affects of the crash………simple economics brought to you by the dairy man lad🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have answered it many times - if I lose my rented land I will get more rented land
with.a 2 year notification for end of leases written in all contracts it leaves me very safe and secure
Not totally correct. We have turned a profit on BOI and will break nearly even on AIB when we fully sell all its shares which the state has will have cost 3-4 billion. Not sure about PTSB. Along with that NAMA is projected to deliver a surplus of 5 billion and 500 million in corporation tax by the time it winds up.
The biggest cost was the two rogue lenders Anglo Irish and Irish Nationwide and guess what most of that was down to regulation which failed and allowed it to infect other banks who to retain business made stupid lending decisions.
But government spending was more of a problem than the banks. As well government devision making during the crisis where it guaranteed bondholders was crazy
What happens if u cant get more land
Plenty of lads spent heavily on sheds parlour etc in 2014/15 they had money or access to.Land was cheap then and sould have been bought instead of renting ground and build sheds.
Why wiuldnt I be able to

You're assuming that land was available to buy.
I see no problem with lads renting land. It's a cheaper way to operate for many and to build capital which could be used in future for investment if required. It allows you o carry greater numbers, and hopefully a higher income without a big outlay on day 1
You sound like a lad that would be afraid to go out the back door in morning in case a gust of wind comes takes a bin and takes you out ….thought you were a humongous dairy farmer ….you give a lot of time on here been a pain in the hole winding up posters all day
I wasnt afraid to buy land not like the majority of farmers who wasted there money on big sheds parlours which alot are empty cus land rent went out of control .As for availability auctionners were ringing me every week with land
Sorry but don't agree with this at all, I know of 2 places very local to me in bother with banks and I can absolutely guarantee you the banks have very little to blame in either situation..nobody was falling on hard times..the rest of us are paying for these people..
How much did you buy?
THATSs like asking woman her age.
Post a picture of one calf still waiting…
No it's not (and **** all wrong with asking a woman her age)
You've said you've bought and have no debts. Curious if it's an acre or hundreds.
Lad ive nothing to prove its ur loss if u dont take my advice i really dont care if u think im not a farmer
Read what said to jack im not insecure and start posting private info on forum.
Hi mine is bigger than yours 👋👋🙈🙈
Your advice is great I don’t disagree with you… take out no loans, buy cheap land, don’t rent land and inherit a truck load of land and find some slave of a ‘woman’ have I missed anything???
Can see from a mile off you are no dairy farmer you are clearly bitter at the dairy industry for some reason it would take two seconds to disprove the fact 99% of people here think you are nothing but a troll if you are a real farmer but you can’t do that so therefore no one takes you seriously.
At the end of the day who really gives a fook. Lads seem to have plenty of time on their hands, another 30 posts on this thread since I last logged on.
Cow trade on fire in Carnaross
Well done super looking stock
Do you know what % of buyers are from the North Stan?

You were boasting of ur new parlour not so long ago
