Based on the information provided PVGIS estimates 3,579.7kWh per year with a high of 476kWh in May, 456kWh in June, 443kWh in July & 399kWh in August.
Assumptions: no shading, 35 degree roof slope & -45 azimuth (south east).
Thanks a mil!
6.2kWh from a 7.79kW system. south facing.
374Kwh for January, happy with that and 19.1Kwh for yesterday.
8.3kw array south facing.
i have a slightly smaller array with the same aspect.
i was looking at cloud cover on windy yesterday... if my house was 30km to the west i would have had sunshine for most of the day (there was a 50km sliver of fairly clear sky running south west to north east across the southern half of the country yesterday), instead it was overcast for most of the day here in west waterford.
You’re where I was headspace wise 18months ago when I went live. But it’s a 25 year long-game I eventually realised 😊 So I managed to stop myself refreshing the dashboard for output. Checking my usage, tweaking the times when we turned stuff on...
HAHA i hope this wears off. i'm spending far too much time refreshing the solis app!!!
It doesn't wear off - but it does reduce in frequency. Since I only recently when to FIT (in Oct) instead of deemed export I'm sure it will be a nice feeling to be sitting at home at my desk with the app open on the phone on the charging stand as I see 4-5Kw (€1/hr) being exported on sunny day :-)
Bring it!
I think my north west panels might be waking up. Generating nearly 900 watts at this time of the day is a new experience...
11.6kWh from a 7.79kW system. south facing.
Irritatingly 10kWh of the total was produced in a 3 hour spell. No battery and NC6 yet to be received by ESBN.
Noticeable uptick in production yesterday and today is forecast 14kwh.. yesterday was first day since November I exported.. 7kwp split 4 south east, 3 north west. Production is stronger earlier in the morning. I guess it's angle of the sun
Yes. Best day of the year so far for me too. The sun is beginning to creep up above the trees.
Best day yesterday for 2024. 19.5kwh from 6kw system. South facing, Baldoyle, Dublin.
Well I want expecting that today - 7 kw from my 5kw system. Things are waking up now.
Great day today in south Dublin city. 8.3kwh on a 4kwp system. My best day yet. (only installed mid Jan)
Still in shade until about 11:30 but the peak power is way up now over the last week or so.
6.5kwh today. Battery full now and even exported a little. Hopefully 15 more panels going on the roof on Thursday.
FYI - Tomorrow forecasted to be better than today by about 10%
Bring it on! Tks
Class. You did the garden as diy. Is the new roof setup diy too or getting an installer?
Ya, can't wait now. It's semi diy, I'm getting roofers in to mount them for me. I'll complete the job then, no way am I going up on that roof, 40 deg slope and three stories up. Aiming for 6.3 kwp if it will fit.
19kWh peaking at 6.46kW at 12:10 this afternoon.
11 kwh today. 6kw east/west system
Another record day today. 20.5kwh from 6kw system. South facing, Baldoyle, Dublin.
Just one decimal off 30 today here in galway
Save some for the rest of us will ya😀 Did you get a chance to test your eps?
Not always this good here, had some poor days throughout the month especially in first week. With sun rising higher now though finally seeing peaks of 8+ kw.
Was away on trip over last week but back tomorrow so must remember to check that eps test out when back 👍
Didn't quite make the double figures today but got 9.9kwh on the 4kwp system. Pretty happy overall. Got a load of washing and drying done and still didn't need to import anything and battery is still going strong this evening.
Best day so far since install in late January. The system was absolutely ripping it right up to midday.
Are you in Dubai?
Judging by the temperature outside definitely not 🤣
