Got notification of an OTA while ago.
Says it takes approx. 52 minutes to complete and the vehicle isn't useable in that time.
Hope I haven't made a bags of things though. I clicked "OK" at 05:35, and I finish work at 06:45. Just hope it's completed and the car isn't bricked!
Mine stops much sharper in the wet. ( Would not call it violent) Normal When dry. And fine with auto hold off.
I seem to have an issue with the auto hold - the car jerks to a violent stop. Very unpleasant. Have turned auto hold off but has anyone experienced same?
Nearly a 2 month wait for the local dealer to take a look...
25k in a dealer would mean something like 23k privately? if this is the start of a downward trend then the 1st plus will have to down someway from where the bulk of them are sitting at the moment. 2020 / 2021 plates should be sub 20k going by the above price for the Tour.

I remember being in a BMW dealership and they presented me with their BMW genius to answer any questions I may have.
Salesman had no interest in the actual car just interested in me buying something
It’s not just EVs either. Recent experience with solar quotations was not much better. There’s definitely a gap in training there.
It's not just EVs. In my experience most sales guys in dealerships do not have great knowledge of the cars even ICE they are selling.
I would well believe it, i was shocked at the lack of knowledge in dealers, when i first started looking at EV’s/test driving about 3 years ago. Clearly not much training was given, and that was the same, across multiple car brands. Allthough, i never went to a Nissan dealer, who had been in the EV space, a few years at that stage.
I went into a main dealer a year ago and the young salesman there was trying to tell me our tour was more poorly specd than a style they had in stock. And was offering a trade in on that basis. 🙄.
Maybe, its an error price
€1000 more than a the 2021 Life model ( no alloys, matrix, travel assist, etc.) they have for sale.
We got it around same time but I just missed out on area view. Still very well specd all the same.
im wondering will the tours move faster second hand.
Lowest price i’ve seen from a dealer for a 2021 Tour, 25k, comes with a 1 years warranty, NCT until Feb 2025, and medium mileage. Unclear if 4 or 5 seater, only went up last hour
Nope they don’t, unless priced well.
another well priced 202 1st plus here, for 18.5k, very likely be able to get this for under 18k, but see it is now sold

Nope, from mid 2021 the Tour (4 seater) spec changed and added the Area View. I know because I was lucky. I had ordered the 4 seater Tour expecting the HUD but no Area View. My order was delayed because the dealer ordered the wrong model and when it got rescheduled, the delay had meant I got the next MY version and it had both. Only thing in the spec that I don't have is a sunroof I believe and I suspect that @fits has the same car.
But OP has a 4 seater, i understood it was not on the 4 seater Tours, only the 5 seater, but some specs varied during the supply chain crisis.
Some Tours have the Area View also. It came in on the later 212 models.
I dont think it was a recall. Its just a known issue which they have been fixing under warranty. Outside warranty you are in goodwill gesture territory.
Being a suspension part I think they have the right to just say no. They fixed one of mine under warranty, second one is gone now (out of warranty) but Im hopeful they will give me the warranty on it as I did ask them to replace both at the time and they said they wouldnt, but they would look at goodwill gesture if the second one went in the near term... which it did!.... booked in in a few weeks time so Im hoping for a zero invoice!
A recall means it is a manufacturing issue so you are covered outside the VW warranty, up to 6 years.

Sorry, I've no idea on the Cupra side.
This might give you an idea, of the excess mileage versus agreement
Do I need to do that with the born too? I haven't received anything since I got the car in July.
GFMv on ours is 23k. But we’ve exceeded mileage obviously so I don’t know how much that will cost us.
Just need more boot space. But nothing out there hitting the mark
The tour is best out there for range for the price. ( maybe with exception of model 3 long range)
A few things to sort with it such as the drop links (not sure if it would be still covered by VW as I think they were a recall)
Its out of warranty so they can tell you to get lost but its definitely worth an ask. It will really depend on how much the dealer is willing to do for you. Since you didnt buy from them they may not have much interest in chasing a goodwill gesture.
The drop links are quite cheap and any mechanic should be able to swap them out for you so you can always avoid the stealership if you want.
Picked up a 202 1ST PLUS 5DR for less than 18k last week.
That was €40k new. So a tad over 50% depreciation and its on its 4th year. Its about right in a functioning market. Good car and well wear!
Is the car on software v3.2?
NOTE: There is a new update being sent out to go to 3.2.1. When you have your account setup you have to specifically go into it on the web and enable OTA under the "Vehicle Consent Management" section. You wont get the OTA update otherwise.
Ya private. A few things to sort with it such as the drop links (not sure if it would be still covered by VW as I think they were a recall), but decent value. Seller had it for sale for about a year so was keen to sell it on.
I was offered €23k trade in for my 212 Tour5 in December. I’m planning to keep it at end of PCP but will consider my options if value drops below GMV (around 18k).
Good price. Was it a private purchase?
Picked up a 202 1ST PLUS 5DR for less than 18k last week. They don't seem to be selling 2nd hand at all.
