Trump has, in many ways, been remarkably quiet in a national sense. He has not been participating in the Republican primaries, not in any debates. He mostly confines himself to speeches to his die-hards which are getting progressively more esoteric. He hasn't taken the stand in any of his trials, contenting himself with just behaving like a spoilt brat from the chair muttering under his breath.
He won't be able to hide so effectively in a national campaign for Presidency and I suspect it will cause a derailment.
You're not wrong, there are many many moving parts involved in this election,
Trump's legal woes
RFK jr running as independent
Age and health of incumbent.
That's not to say Trump is a picture of optimal health himself either.
The RFK dynamic is something I think should be talked about more, his favourbility is higher than Trump or Biden currently and with so many voters feeling disenfranchised with both parties and their candidates how many votes will the DNC and GOP bleed to him?
Now I'm not saying RFK can win the presidency but he damn well might have a big say in who will become president.
Fascinating no matter who your preference is and I can't wait for the election cycle to heat up. 🙂
MAGA still tripping over itself to pick a culture war with Taylor Swift
How dare she thank the people who helped her produce the album and not... her boyfriend, whom she started dating after the publication of the album.
I'm surprised how much Coulter broke with Trump. I would have thought she'd be ride or die throughout his whole political career since 2015. It's not that she's exactly chilled out with her former provocative statements. She's correct about Trump, but I would have thought the money and notoriety from spouting his spiel would have been too tempting.
Watch him twist and turn, trying desperately to get out of the debates with Biden. he has to know the perils of debating anyone vaguely competent on the national stage.
I'd have to find the stats but by and large RFK jr. Is a larger voter bleed to Trump than Biden, given RFK's notorious stances on various topics. The fact the scuttlebutt spoke of him as a potential VP in of itself nods towards the likely ideological leaning.
The debates did nothing for him so it's not a wonder
"Will you shut up man"
"Proud Boys, stand back and stand by"
The Police hadn't even formed when SNL first aired. The first musical guest was Janice Ian. I only know this because BBC4 had a one hit wonders night on Saturday and they mentioned it when they played Seventeen.
Well, it was a long time ago and I'm probably remembering an episode some years later. Still, amazing it's still going strong for so long.

A year has passed since I wrote my note
I blame you both for ruining my train of thought today
Just be grateful you don't have the lyrics of At Seventeen running through your head
Some sound legal arguments are apparent to disqualify trump, as discussed here by initially skeptical contributors...
this relies on SCOTUS being of sound mind and judgement.
Remember this is the court of the Chief Justice who decided he didn't care to see any evidence of a president's high crimes and misdemeanors.
Biden did not win in a landslide though in 2020. He won by 40 thousand or so votes and no the popular vote is irrelevant.
Polling right now clearly has numerous caveats, sampling size etc but Trump is edging Biden on them as I type. Their is numerous things that can happen in the next ten months that could swing it either way, but anyone who says either is going to win by a landslide is proper wishcasting.
Biden did not win in a landslide though in 2020
Depends how you spin it, and his critics were fine with calling it a landslide when trump did the exact same electoral college numbers in 2016
eg. TLDR these analysts argue a landslide is only anything above 55% of the popular vote.
Yes estimates seem to point to the fact that RFK will take more from Trump than Biden.
Trump and RFK have both come out only last week saying that that they have no interest in RFK being Trump's VP but things can change very quickly in Washington as we all know.
If I was in Trump's camp i would make it my number one objective to get RFK as my running mate. Kennedy's are a juggernaut Democrat family that hold weight till this day, along with hoovering up RFK's votes, seems like a no brainer to me.
Now wether Trump's ego would allow a Kennedy to take shine away from him is another question entirely.
Not just an issue of stealing shine, would RFK decertify an election for Trump. The answer is no, so the VP question is a no.
You're right, who do you think Trump will pick for his VP?
Mike pence was as vanilla as could be, I'm not sure where he goes this time.
Someone who will pledge to overturn an election.
You comedian you.😁
Simple matter of fact.

MAGA loses it on Law Enforcement for enforcing the law
How hard is it to pay your car tax?
Do you actually know anything about RFK Jr and his association with Russian asset Scott 'Helen Lovejoy' Ritter?
Jaysus, hopefully you do become part of Trump's camp.
That's gonna be infuriating for TFG
And yet this poll says the exact opposite.
As signs point to the 2024 presidential election being a repeat of the 2020 race between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, Biden holds a lead over Trump 50 - 44 percent among registered voters.
Polling eh??
Don't tell him about the polling among women
Or which sex shows up at the polls more often than the other
He's not wrong though.
I wonder when (not if) TFG will start espousing if he doesn't win in 2024 it will be due to a steal, that it's faulty etc. How long before TFG starts planting this little ear worm for the cult that worship him.
My oh my, what a strange time they all live in.
Oh he already is...
How will this help Trump? If Trump wins this time he will be ineligible to run the next time around. Do you think he cares who wins after him?
