Another reason I asked was because normally people use the word "they" when referring to more than one person so I was curious who "they" were.
I thought it was possible you were referring to Marie Farrell and her husband.
No josie hellan suspected Alfie of using Sophie bath when she wasn’t there because when she arrived there was a dirty ring in her bath, Alfie was questioned about it and seemingly admitted to using Sophie’s house for water when he had none but didn’t admit to using her bath again I stand to be corrected on the latter whether he did admit it

That was before Sophie moved into the house, the previous owner gave Alfie the key.
I'd imagine Sophie would have changed the locks when she moved into the house.
There's quite a lot of balderdash mentioned on threads here about this case CuriousCal so I wouldn't take much notice of that.
Yes I know he admitted to using it before Sophie bought the house but it was while Sophie was there someone was suspected of using the house

The locks were changed after the bath incident. Dunno if they were changed after initial purchase.

Seems to all be hear say I don’t see any solid proof but then again there’s so much hear say with this case
There is much hearsay. There is also irrefutable proof that one suspect lied about his alibi, and also lied about other details of the night such as having premonitions or not. And no, it had nothing to do with hazy memories. There is also irrefutable proof the same suspect was capable of almost killng his partner, in his own words.
While I do agree with you and I think Ian Bailey was absolutely a horrible excuse for a man for what he put his previous partner through I can’t help but also think it was very easy to pin it on him also
Still nothing compared to what we know Bailey did.
Yes I agree no defending his actions whatsoever but other people involved have questionable backgrounds but seem to have been disregarded
The man was an absolute c**t but being an absolute c**t does not automatically mean that he committed murder.
I just wish The Cold Case Review Team would check every county in Ireland for clues.

The most prominant person to pin this on Ian Bailey as a suspect was Ian Bailey himself. Conflicting and changing alibis, conflicting statements, out of place black humour admitting guilt despite it being an open case, changing accounts about premonitions. Re being introduced to Sophie, a circuit court judge found this to be likely true.

Like I said, they don't read much, maybe just the headlines in rag papers if they're about Bailey.
