We've seen many fires now of potential new migrant centres around the country and yet not one single arrest yet.

Wow, we're all in now I see. Time to start detaining people under Section 42 and trying them before the SCC, resistance is futile.
It's stupidity of the highest order. Shameful acts from very dumb people. Gullible attention seekers is my guess.
Imagine Reeling in the Years covering such idiocy in a decade from now. People simply won't comprehend it.
That truly is sick.
I do hope they catch those responsible, the Klu Klux Klan would be truly proud of them.
Re Crooksling, I was reading a local councillors view on Facebook. Nursing home was closed around 2010, over a million spent on security since. Has been a long running campaign over many years to have it restored to some sort of community use. Very sad to see it destroyed etc.
Will Reeling in the Years cover the complexities of all that background sentiment?
It's the textbook definition of terrorism. There's no point pretending otherwise.
Your right. I believe the full force of the state needs to be brought to bear on this far right menace. We have international obligations and the public majority be damned we will comply with these treaties that were drawn up by low level diplomats in the 50's in a time before mass travel. Anyone questioning this immigration crisis is clearly by extension supporting terrorism. It needs to be stamped out and let's not waste a case of criminality to crack down on this growing dissent in the populace.
Stop making things up. The public majority is very clearly in favour of upholding those treaties that Ireland have signed up to and the recent results from multiple polls show that to the case. Terrorism should always be tackled forceful. The dangers of letting it escalate is all too clear
Current affairs has gone to the dogs for allowing this post.
So the response is burn it down? I'd personally say it would be fascinating to see the kind of people burning these buildings down. Cause I'd suspect it will turn out to be not the salt of the earth that certain posters seem to think they are.
Also, the people who are sympathetic seem to have no concern for the risk to lives including emergency service workers.
That's a weird interpretation. Nobody asked do you understand protests.
Public *minority.
Question: What would make Ireland safer?
Answer: Burn things.
The logic of these goons is astounding. Only a matter of time before someone dies in one of these fires. But Leo something something…
Oh well. That's OK to burn it down then!
Burning down buildings is a criminal act not mere dissent.
Which post?
Who's making things up? The reason buildings are being burned is because the majority of the people have been ignores and gaslit. People voiced opposition, held peaceful protests and all they got was condesending dismissave answers from people such as yourself. If you want to use the term terrorism then look at every case of terrorism taking hold worldwide, it always began with the genuine and legitimate concerns of people being ignored and trampled on. Of course we need immigration but the world has changed immeasurably since these treaties were agreed and they need to be updated to reflect the new realities of climate change and mass travel.
No people that support criminal damage to achieve an aim that in civilised countries we achieve politically are supporters of terrorism.
Lot of dissident and ex Provisional volunteers involved in this.
No it's not. It's a load of racists. These guys have more in common with the KKK.
The arson attacks are not justifiable. Stop trying to justify them.
Which part of the post where I said a "case of criminality" was calling it dissent.
The title of this of this post is that not obvious?
Indeed
No. You said post. That could have been anything.

He didn't say that
You are. Even that link doesn't say anything about the majority of Irish people wanting to withdraw from the legal treaties regarding asylum seekers that we have signed up to. Look, you might be supportive of ISIS, Al quieda and other terrorist groups due to their "genuine and legitimate concerns" then fair enough, I'm not though. Acts of terrorism can't be justified. Especially in democracies against the democratically elected government.
The KKK were a lot of things but they weren't violent opponents of the free market.
You have a lot of working class lads who have experience from involvement in Republican movements, a life time listening to opposition to the powers that be, opposition to big capital, vested interests etc.
It was inevitable this would happen.
I have never justified them and I don't. I am mature enough and have studied enough of history to know that if you don't examine the cause of something you will not find the solution to it. It's attitudes such as yours that have landed us in this mess, shouting down and refusing to even constance that ordinary people have an issue with the current immigration crisis.
There's more to it than that as to why a lot of the criminal gangs are signing up to support the far right. It isn't about anything at all to do with anti capitalism ideology. The criminal gangs want capitalism for their own economic benefit.
