Won't worry musgraves have closed there shop in Kilkenny a pity to see it gone.
I think your comment on Paddy after the club final probably rubbed people up the wrong way, and, along with other comments on players probably gives you a bit of a reputation when, in your defence, some of your concerns are probably justified. For what it's worth I'd have a lot of time for Paddy, I think he has a lot of admirable qualities and is a genuine leader on the team, something we have been short on in recent years. I would agree that I don't think half back is his best position, although he had a good year last year, and I think he could be a really effective option for us in the forwards. I think one of Lyng's big head aches will be to finding Paddy's most effective position but either way I think he will be a starter for us come championship.
I tend to agree, maybe there is a role up the pitch for him.
Paddy Deegan and Huw Lawler have the exact same number of All Irelands for KK, why are you using that as a metric for one and not the other? If Paddy Deegan is Kilkenny's biggest problem than they are in a far better place that I had foreseen!!
Well he did score more from play in the final alone than TJ Reid managed from play against Galway, Clare and Limerick combined.
I think you're far too hard on Paddy Deegan. Granted he's not a top inter county half back but there's certainly a role for him on the KK team further up the pitch
Whem John Power could be changed from wing back to half forword worked well you have hope yet for Paddy. He played well as a forward a couple of years ago with his club.
Anyone know if the game Sunday is being shown anywhere?
Not being shown live anywhere, TG4 showing Clare/Cork and Monaghan/ Kerry on their app or player.
Why then is it on at1.45 they could have played it at 3 and having the Leinster colleges final before that
3pm is surely too late for a hurling match at this time of the year.
And the school's final deserve their own day out.
Do you not think it would be better for the students to play in front of a large crowd, surely this would have their place in the sun. And as for KK 36 2.30 if that would suit you better.
It’s not about suiting me.
More sniping going on in here than in Gaza ........

Can't imagine Kilkenny have played too many games with 3 brothers in the team.
Not a fan of that full back line at all.
Doyle needs to show something. I realise we're short of midfielders and he's young so deserves a shot but he must be going fair well in training to get his way into the team.
Hopeful of a performance rather than confident.
We will have to wait and see how they will all perform and then we can judge them fairly.
Lyng gone with 9 starters from last years Championship and Rossitter has 6 from Wexford.
There can really be no excuse for Kilkenny to lose at home on Sunday.
If Lyng finishes with 6 starters from last year and Rossiter with 9, it might be a draw!
Eddie Scally on KCLR podcast claims Wexford play a very high number of championship starters in meaningless Walsh cup and league games!
He'll probably call it a Kilkenny development squad like he did with Galway.
Based on last year I'd have it 8 starters for for ye and 4 for us and haven't a clue who is considered our 1st choice goalie.
Huh? It's February and it's the first round of the League... anything could happen. If Kilkenny hammered Wexford or Wexford battered Kilkenny I wouldn't bat an eyelid either way.
Decent starting team. One or two hometown selections. Would have liked to have seen Carey start.
Surprised harry shine is on the panel. Constantly injured. Surely the chap needs the chance to go one season injury free before being brought onto a Kilkenny senior panel.
Is Paddy Mullen still involved with the panel?
Agree with this comment, very poor for his club in junior hurling last year.
No he was not called back in like Evan Cody, Shane Walsh etc.
Harry had surgery on his hand on a bone that wasn't properly set for the last year and half from what I heard. That's why he missed the Boro U21 campaign. He's not hurled since the Boro lost to Ballyhale. Personally I think it's too early for him but I'm prepared to be wrong. If we're struggling on frees and B Drennan can't come in, Harry would be good for that at least, he's a very consistent free taker.
That's important inside knowledge that we're often missing when criticising various players. There must be over 50 players in training which may cause headaches for management when it comes to cutting back the panel. We all will have a view as to the one or two that we think shouldn't be in. I doubt there are many, if any, players that aren't being given a chance that posters feel should be in there.
A game plan is the key no matter what players are involved.
There was no criticism.
