There's a school of thought that the delay here and in the Washington DC Immunity appeal case is because the Judges are taking their time to ensure that the rulings are "appeal proof".
Ideally you want the judgements to be so utterly bullet-proof that the Supreme court refuse to even hear the appeal.
Not sure if that's true or if the extra work will prevent Trump being able to delay everything through spurious appeals but if it works it's worth the wait.

What he has said about Trump are probably what a lot of the public are thinking themselves anyway.
Calling him a rapist doesn't really hurt him, though. It should, but it doesn't. The time would be better spent calling him things which really wound him and cause him to lash out in anger, while also figuring out how to disrupt the signal part of the signal-noise theory of politics as promoted by Steve Bannon.
It'll surely hurt him by the time the general election rolls around, particularly with female voters. There's absolutely zero question now that the guy is a sex pest, and I don't see why non-brainwashed women would vote for him whatsoever.

There's nothing nasty about what he said about Trump. I could literally say the same thing to my mother who hates swearing and is in her late 80s. She'd be uncomfortable with the language but she'd largely agree with the sentiment.
I'd say your view on Jean Carroll could be viewed as far more nasty than anything Biden has said. Literally going for a bit of victim blaming and saying she's in it for the money.
