He can't access GOP central campaign money until he's the confirmed nominee so he has to spend money from his own PACs and he's running on fumes there.
He's spent $50M on legal fees in the last year and that burn rate is going to continue if not increase this year and that's before he tries to fiddle the books to use campaign money to cover his fines.

The funny thing is that Trump's side is fuming over the mere suggestion that Swift might support the Democrats. It may actually serve the Democrats better not to seek a direct endorsement from her because then MAGA looks like it is up in arms over more people voting, which is not going to move the dial toward Trump when it comes to any halfway reasonable independent left in the United States.
Would you say that Haley is too far gone to turn back and kiss the ring? These are very pointed statements she's making. The others who ran against Trump didn't commit themselves quite as much to saying how flat-out bad Trump would be in a general, and it seems like these statements would be hard to go back on if she had to drop out because they are so clear and unambiguous.

Haley and Trump were on poor enough terms back in 2016 when she endorsed Rubio and had a public spat with Trump and they quickly made up after.

Even if Trump is kicked off the ballot, it's still his party and he would dictate who his replacement would be. I doubt he would endorse Haley. He'd sooner endorse Don Jr.
The GOP bigwigs may not like Trump, but he is undeniably popular with their voters as we have seen over the last 8 years. If somehow Trump kicks of the ballot which is far fetched they won't replace him with someone who has poor favorability's with her own party's voters.
I don't know who would replace Trump if he were to drop dead after Tuesday, it would be very complicated but chances are it would be someone who the party likes.
Regarding Haley she can prove the doubters wrong by winning a few states, but looking at the primary and the likely SC drubbing that is coming then yeah she needs divine intervention.

I had a theory for years that Trump hires these types of people so that he can control them with threats of publication of their wrongs.
