The abuse that this man has taken from MAGA is absolutely disgusting. All because he upheld his oath to the Constitution.
He is also a key witness in the Jack Smith prosecution.
Trump and MAGA don't care about anything other than getting their own way.
Upholding laws or morals is meaningless to them if it doesn't bring them a win/
Any jury is going to get to see the same video clips of him campaigning for Trump
He's going to be an incredibly credible witness
Womp womp
So sad, where is the GOP of Rusty Bowers?
Bring on the disbarment. Should have never been admitted to the bar anyway (probably the NJ bar, usually means you pass the bar in NY, NJ and Conn.) Perhaps the standards have dropped sine my various relatives took those exams, they were tough back in the day, nowadays with the glut of lawyers out there I expect they've been dumbed down.
Amusing comments in the Mediate article: "Her future in 2 words: Parking. Garage."
It really is staggering that Trump is STILL in with a good shot of heading back to the Oval Office. Both staggering and profoundly disturbing.
The slate did a podcast week's ago with the title "trump supporters aren't delusional".
Understandably, they received quite a significant pushback.
One message left was from a professor who offered to come and discuss.
This is the podcast..
Very much worth a listen...
It's definitely... something.
But this is the thing with tick-tock two choice politics. If the tock is messing up or getting the blame for everything perceived as wrong, the t(h)ick is going to get a baseline of votes just by virtue of being the alternative who says they will fix everything. It doesn't even matter if that alternative is Donald Trump.
There are other factors at play, here. The world has been pretty desensitised to Trump's madness. In a day, Trump will say at least one thing that would have utterly sunk a regular politician about 10 years ago. Steve Bannon's "flood the zone with shít" quote in action - nothing is outrageous when there is an outrageous story in the news every day.
But the above strategy does not work unless you have a large enough base of people who are willing to disregard that first big outrage, and that base of people was grown for a long time until it began to peak it's head above water in the late 2000s. Go back and watch that town hall with John McCain talking to voters in the 2008 campaign - that old woman who said to him that she read about Obama and he was 'an Arab'. We didn't realise it then, but this was the old Republican party being introduced to the new one. It would become more apparent when Sarah Palin joined McCain's campaign and her ignorance spouting was met not with incredulity by rally attendees, but by wild applause. She would be the proto Boebert and Greene.
It's staggering to see where American politics has gotten to, but not that surprising if you go back and chart the progression. You might even say it was inevitable.
Bit of a different response when yer man in Brazil pulled a trump.

Spent $50M of donations on legal fees last year
“Last Week Was Bad for Trump. This Week Could Be Four, Five Times Worse.
How many million we guessing?
corporate death penalty
Especially with that fake loan for tax evasion
New, full film documentary this comes from:
contents may boil your piss all over again.
This will be key.
Whether he can sustain the estimated 350m fine is one thing, but whether he can mentally take a ban is another.
Obviously he deserves it and more, and will no doubt appeal any order, but psychologically, a ban will be devastating to his ego.
Iran Contra 2.0?!
This guy was literally a coconspirator in Iran contra.
$50m in donations on legal fees
You would need a heart of stone not to laugh
That policy has worked well for Mike Lindell hasn't it??
What are the "Pro-Quos" for those quids one wonders.
A bit more deregulation , bit of child labour etc.
Haha does not care she is waiting for her tv deal. I say she does not care if her law practice goes under.
Makes me wonder what that Law Practice would normally do, beyond trying to defend the legal car-crash that is Donald Trump. Have they ever actually won a case if Habba is a major partner?
I'd also wonder about any potential TV Deal. It's not like right-wing media is particularly short of cretinous blondes who'll gladly relay the block-headed GOP Talking-point of the day.
Elon has got his own monetary issues....
It's seems its a jack of all civil matters and family law she is managing partner
Trump fans are 'Right wing Authoritarians' (RWA)
There is an excellent book on this subject called The Authoritarians, published long before Trump started his successful takeover of the GOP that shows their traits and why they are so ridiculously gullible (and dangerous)
RWA personality types are becoming more common as countries are becoming more and more divided, the conditions for turning sensible people into the mindless goons that feel Trump is the answer are being replicated all around the world.
Religion seems to be a serious fact or there as well. I don't think it's a coincidence that people who are used to being fleeced and have their minds battered into mush by the hypocritical snake oil salesmen that are the celebrity preachers are also all in on the Trump train.
My guess is 280mn.
Bad idea for Donald to try to head Taylor in a popularity contest, it will end in tears for him but his ego can't take someone else being more popular.
Why anyone would see Trump or his kind as the answer to their problems I cannot understand at all .... Trump is a walking disaster .... and the Republican Party is a party of intolerant war mongering extremists who have no qualms causing trouble in every part of the world ...
Not once did Trump solve any problem or do anything positive when he was in office ... from Iran policy to handling Covid it was all a mixture of evil and incompetence ... he left America and the world in a much worse shape than he found it ...
